Since premiering at Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre in 2003, WICKED has been mesmerizing audiences and breaking records, becoming the second highest-grossing musical in Broadway history with over $1.4 billion in tickets sold. Composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz and book writer Winnie Holzman’s magical “untold true story of the Witches of Oz” has been nominated for 10 Tony Awards — winning three — including Idina Menzel for Best Actress in a Musical as heroine Elphaba. With a captivating score that includes the hits “Defying Gravity” and “For Good,” the WICKED cast album won Best Musical Show Album at the 47th Grammy Awards, with Time magazine cheering, “If every musical had a brain, a heart, and the courage of WICKED, Broadway really would be a magical place.” In addition to Menzel, the star-studded original cast included Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda, Norbert Leo Butz as Fiyero, Joel Grey as the Wizard, Carole Shelley as Madame Morrible, Christopher Fitzgerald as Boq, Michelle Federer as Nessarose, and William Youmans as Doctor Dillamond. WICKED is also the fourth longest-running show in Broadway history.

My wife wanted to see this play since she enjoyed the book. We both thoroughly enjoyed the show on Broadway. The actresses portraying the wicked witches were superb.
Loved the show!! Super, just wonderful - is this enough words!!
Amazing, incredible, spell-binding, shiver-inducing. All in all, fabulous.
great... recommend it for all.... the two leading ladies were wonderful
Thoroughly enjoyed Wicked - The actors were amazing, and we were delighted to have chosen this play as our first Broadway experience. Thankyou Gershwin Theatre! Thankyou NYC!
Very clever and witty take on the original Oz story. Loved the set and costumes.
Loved the whole experience of seeing Wicked on Broadway .... and what talent! Fantastic play and very well written!
Absolutely stunning! Will watch again! It's worth every dollar I spent on the ticket!
Wicked was absolutely fantastic! Such a great production, a must-see theatre broadway musical if you are only to see one! Seen twice already, once in Vancouver, and now in New York City, both brilliant!
Great show! Teal Wicks was amazing as Elphaba and I would recommend this to anyone not just theatre lovers!
OMG I took my daughter and her friend both 16 years old and we all absolutely loved this show. It was fantastic.! Great show for any age.
I was in NYC for a few days and really wanted to see Wicked. After inquiring at my hotel where I was told it would be $180 for a mezzanine ticket (which included a $50 broker fee), I decided to just call the box office. I got a single ticket for the next day for $140 without knowing where it was. Turns out I was in the 2nd row, centre orchestra! It was a little too close; I had to put my head back to see the dragon and flying monkeys but Oh...My...Goodness!! What a show!! I was thrilled from beginning to end. It was captivating, witty and the talent was off the scale. You should go!
This show was hands down unforgettable. The cast did an amazing job and really made the musical come to life. It's a must see for any Broadway fan.
Loved every minute of this 'Wicked' Broadway musical. It is definitely a musical not to be missed if you are in New York. It had humour, suspense, drama, love, hope, despair, and of course a great cast to bring it all to life. What a wonderful experience!
Excellent! Loved every minute of it. The singing was superb and the script was funny and entertaining throughout. Galinda stole the show.
Wicked being the first broadway play for my mother and I, we definitely enjoyed the show. The performers were really into it, as was the audience. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family

I was swept away from start to finish. I really didn't know what to expect, but I found myself going through so many emotions through out the performance to the point that I found myself crying at the end. I loved it!
