    The Last Hurrah

by floydyes on 2017-09-19Massey Hall - Toronto

Great show.....it was for the fans of the band. They can't play and sing as they used to but a wonderful nite of nostalgia. It was nice to Anderson and Wakeman once more. This is probably the last time??

ARW very good but could be better

    by bishop4444 on 2017-09-19Massey Hall - Toronto

The Venue. Massey Hall is old but the acoustics can be very good. The seats are old and need updating but overall a good venue. ARW. Needed to be a little louder, and it was a little muffled where we were sitting on the ground floor under the center circle. Went to see them in Buffalo in Nov 16 which was my prefereed the setlist. Jon Anderson loves performing and is so genuine about his appresiation for the crowd. Rick Wakeman is one fella that I will never get sick of seeing, which started in 1976 on the No Earthly Connection tour in UK, his performances is worth the ticket price alone. Trevor Rabin is a great guitarist but popularized the music of YES, and instead of Acoustic guitars in places replaced with electric. Somehow just didn't sound right. Overall a good performance and a good evening.

    A YES Show

by Totofan on 2016-11-30Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort - Las Vegas

This was as much a YES show as the recent incarnation of said band. As many 'real' members, and of course the one and only Jon Anderson. So...if you are any sort of fan, you'll want to see ARW and the 'other' band touring as YES. If I could only choose one, I'd say ARW if for no other reason than the set list which included a lot of tunes not heard for quite a while. The band was top notch, makes you wonder why Jon isn't with Steve H anymore since the vocals are incredible and he still has the stage presence. Trevor just nailed his own parts and of course those done by SH, the bass player had BIG shoes to fill and did very well, my only complaint was they could have turned up the volume a little more, Chris S bass you could always feel as much as hear. The current player I saw with ELO last summer so he knows his stuff. The drummer, I've seen before as well with Kim Mitchell and this guy is solid, and not nearly as cranky as AW (and a lot younger as well). Rick Wakeman, no question an 'original' and with that cape and all, what a presence. Highly recommend and even got to meet the guys after the show, no charge...

    Yes Should Concede Their Name

by Shawn2112 on 2016-11-08The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

This show was incredible! If you want a Yes experience, that's what you'll get. All three of them are on top of their games and Pomeroy and Molino do great in their own respect. the chemistry the five of them have is great to see, and that of the three lead men is outstanding. Watching them play their epics as well as their hits is an experience I would recommend to anyone. This was truly one of the best concerts I've ever experienced!
