    Fantastic

Great show - the crowd was crazy and performance was what I've come to expect seeing these guys live a number of times over the years

The Watchmen were the best! As always!

by Who1109 on 2015-03-25Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Loved the show! The energy in the place was electric and the band was awesome! They played all the favourites and love the new one Trampoline. 2 encores! Wow! Tops my list of shows I've been to for a really long time.

The band was great, my only complaint is the speakers were turned up way too loud, the music quality suffered

Sooooo good to see The Watchmen again!

by Vietri on 2011-09-28The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

With The Watchmen, you really cannot go wrong! So when I found out years ago that they were not going to continue touring and making new music it was disheartening! Therefore I was thrilled when the announcement for this special show at the Horseshoe came out, and did not hesitate to get tickets ASAP! I was certainly not disappointed, as they played all of their greatest songs, and from a variety of albums!

The Watchmen...BEST LIVE SHOW THIS YEAR!

by Skibum on 2011-09-26The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

The Watchmen hit the stage and played Silent Radar from top to bottom with some very cool "live" additions to some songs! After finishing the album, they dove into all of their other hits and favourites off of their other albums. The encore included a dedication to REM, one of Danny's favourite bands and they played DRIVER 8. Sadly after two more songs the show was over.

show was great and the venue was good because you could walk around, you weren't confined to a seat. It is also smaller so you can easily get close to the band if you like.

The Watchmen were absolutely amazing! This was the fourth time I've seen them and would definitely go again. I wish they would reunite and put out a new album!

    Watchmen were spectacular

    by Who1109 on 2010-12-06The Pyramid - Winnipeg

As always, The Watchmen put on a FANTASTIC show! The songs never get old. And I loved the new stuff. The only bad part is when it's over! Let's do that again! Great to see the original bass player back and playing with the band including Tizz. Danny's voice gets better every time I see them.

    Watchmen were fantastic!

by morts on 2010-12-06The Pyramid - Winnipeg

The Watchmen played some songs that I'd never heard them do before. There was a lot of laughter on stage, it looked like they were having a blast. The cover of The Who was awesome.

The Watchmen -- true "alternative" music

by Sn0Wyt on 2010-09-27The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

Any show I've ever seen at The Horseshoe has always been fantastic. The Horseshoe is Toronto's version of NYC's CBGB's. I hadn't seen the Watchmen since the 90s, had kind of forgotten about them really, and from he moment they stepped out on stage, I was quickly reminded just what to expect from them. They are the definition of true "alternative" music. The opening band had too much of a country sound to be paired with them though, and their lyrics were unrefined, juvenile almost. This show reminded me of why we liked The Watchmen so much back in the day.

Another great show by The Watchmen

by Anonymous on 2010-09-27The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

This is the third time I've seen The Watchmen live and the third time that I've experienced an amazing show. You often think that when a band that broke up so long ago gets back together that the energy will somehow be diminished - not so with these guys. It's like you're seeing them sometime in the mid nineties. The energy is fantastic and the crowd is absolutely insane.

Great to see the guys again...sound was terrible

by m00nwater on 2010-09-27The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

I was at both Friday's and Saturday's show. Friday it seemed like a more polished show, and they played longer. I liked that they mixed up the set lists for the two nights and didn't play all the same songs. They looked like they were having fun and goofing around more on Saturday than they did Friday, but the overall experience Friday night was much better. They just looked like they wanted to get it over with Saturday night. The sound was terrible on Saturday night, too, and it just sounded like a bunch of noise. It was like the instruments were turned up full blast and Danny's mic was too low and distorted...like he had to compete with the sound of the bandmembers to be heard, and you could see him signalling to adjust his mic often. Overall, I am always happy to see the band perform, but the sound technician really should be fired.

    Watchmen still rock the house

by WanderingPenguin on 2010-09-26The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

The Watchmen were one of my very favourite bands of the 1990s and I saw them live numerous times in their heyday. I've missed them since then - quite a bit - so I was pretty excited when I saw that they had reunited in 2008 for a reunion concert. Alas, I had to miss that one but they repeated the event last year and we were able to see them on the Saturday night - their last concert of the year, I think. They were fabulous, but certainly feeling the effects of having NOT toured for so long (for one thing, Danny was really losing his voice by the end of the show). However.... THIS year they were absolutely amazing. Powerful, confident, engaging and in full force all evening. The sound (for some reason) wasn't as sharp as it has been in the past, but that didn't detract much from the feel-good vibe of the year, for me. If you are a fan of this band do NOT miss them the next time they play.

    The Watchmen, Simply Amazing

by Stetter on 2009-10-02The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

The Watchmen, they ALWAYS put on a GREAT SHOW! I`ve seen them in concert quite a few times. I have NEVER been disappointed . Every time I see them, the hair stands up on the back of my neck and I get goose bumps. With Daniel`s powerful vocals. Joey`s genius guitar playing. Ken`s rhythmic bass and Sammy`s drumming perfection. How can you go wrong? They still sound exactly the same way. Like they did back in 1992 when I first saw them. Can`t wait for the new album, and to see my favorite band play again. Cheers! The Watchmen RULE!!!! Along The Way!

    Watchmen rock again

by Zaner on 2009-09-29The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

Lost track of how often I have seen them, but their show last week and the one almost 1 year ago to the day could have been 2 of their best ever. They played really well, had a couple of new songs that were excellent this time around and the two concerts felt completely different thanks to a huge variation in the set lists. I will go see them again next time they are in T.O. Oh yeah, the Horseshoe is awesome too.
