About

Amon Amarth have been marching purposefully from triumph to greater triumph for the last two decades. Formed amid the fertile Swedish metal scene in the mid 90's, these dedicated diehards brought a new sense of drama and destruction to the world of heavy music, propagating tales of Viking mythology and mortal combat over a devastating soundtrack of crushing rhythms, refined melody and rousing, rebellious refrains. From the release of their debut album Once Sent From The Golden Hall in 1998, to their latest masterpiece Jomsviking, Amon Amarth’s trajectory has been firmly upward, as this band’s devotion to touring the world and spreading their inspirational creed resonates with the ever-growing hordes of like-minded metalheads.

Swedish war machine Sabaton are on their way to worldwide heavy metal domination. These platinum selling, Falun-based heavy metal heroes are heading to Australia. No mercy will be given and all guns will be blazing, as this tireless killing machine prepares to blow fans to another dimension, playing songs off their entire catalogue as well as their latest opus The Last Stand.

    Great show, hate the venue

by Alex on 2022-12-06Place Bell - Laval

I finally caved and went to see a show at Place Bell, because to due to the pandemic I hadn’t seen a show in almost 3 years. And I wanted to see all 4 bands. But it just confirmed what I already knew. Getting to the venue is garbage. Why build an amphitheatre so close and yet so far to everything that already exists and works?! I’m never going back to Laval’s Place Bell again

    Awesome show and phenomenal ambiance

by Charloc on 2022-12-06Place Bell - Laval

I didn’t know the first 3 groups, but they were really nice, particularly Carcass and Obituary! It was the first time I got the chance to see Amon Amarth live. I’ve been a fan of them ever since I’ve started listening to metal music. The decors were so nice to put the ambiance in. Music was awesome and the band too!! Skål 🤘

One of the best concert in my life !

by Doom on 2022-12-06Place Bell - Laval

The great melodic death metal music and the theatrical effects with vikings, dragons and fire was more than awesome ! If I had a horn to drink my beer it would've been perfect ! 🤘🏻

    Superbes spectacles

by Ng on 2022-12-06Place Bell - Laval

J'ai adoré tous les groupes. Excellent sur tout. Le seul hic, un seul endroit pour acheter la marchandise avec des heures d'attentes, ça n'avait pas de sens.

    Amon Amarth was legendary, but...

by Matt on 2022-12-06Place Bell - Laval

Amon Amarth was legendary!!! My only complaint is that the sound for Carcass and Cattle Decapitation was not great. The sound for Obituary was ok.

Great show and lineup, venue lacking

by Dany on 2022-12-06Place Bell - Laval

As stated in the title, the lineup for this tour was stellar. However, there were some issues which, in my opinion, were mostly due to the choice of venue. First, apart from the headliner, every band had issues with sound mixing, especially in the beginning of their sets. Bass and drums were very high and we could barely hear guitars, but in particular the vocals. It happened quite often that the vocalists would talk to the crowd and no one understood what they were saying to us. Maybe this is a result of the shape if the venue and poor sound mixing? Finally, there were 3 fights that had to be broken up near me, something I have never seen in my anything like it in my over a decade experience attending metal concerts.

    Awesome Amon Amarth show

by Mat on 2022-12-06Place Bell - Laval

The line up for merch was super long and painful. Also crazy expensive.. They should have multiple stations to alleviate the charge on each stations. Other than that the Amon Amarth show specifically was AWESOME great performance , the stage was nicely set up, the fireworks, pyro etc what a great metal show!

    Great show wrong venue

by Metal critique on 2022-12-05History - Toronto

For the scope and breath of the preformers, the nature of the acts, the venue was too small for them. Ie there was no pyro... kinda essential for these types of shows. Accoustics were great.

    Amon Amarth

by Brock on 2022-12-05History - Toronto

I went with my girlfriend, she loves Amon Amarth. My first time hearing a full song was in concert and I can’t believe I never listened to their music before. What a concert. It was the best live performance that I’ve been to, honestly so good. The crowd was just as impressive as the band, Amon Amarth fans are hardcore in a very passionate way. If anyone is thinking about going to their concert I hope they go, it’s a great experience!! “RAISE YOUR HORN!”

    Disappointed

by Disappointed on 2022-12-05History - Toronto

There was a guy harrassing me and grabbing at me. My brother tried to stop him and the guy tried to fight my brother. Security then threw my brother out of the show, and me along with him. Good job blaming the victims and forcing us to miss a show wed been looking forward to for months. And good job at letting a guy who is harrassing women remain at the show.

by Gen on 2019-11-03MTELUS - Montreal

Next time if there are 2 shows 2 days in a row at the same place, I'll go to both shows! Cause this Amon Amarth concert was amazing, unbelievable!! The energy was all over the place, and Amon Amarth's members were very interacting with the public, they even throw souvenirs at the balcony! Best experience ever, I can't wait to see them again!

by Jules on 2019-10-18REBEL - Toronto

After seeing Ministry at same venue I opted for the Mezzanine level and it was fantastic!! The view was open and the siund amazing. Im not much for crowds so I really appreciated the elbow room. Had a geat view of the mosh pit as well. My only beef was the price of beer. Other than that Amin Amarth ans friends were excellent!!
