Wonderful acting, gorgeous costumes...Beautiful I have see the Lion King movie and another play of the same story. This version is amazing and so brilliantly brought to life.
I saw the Lion King at Edmonton, Alberta and it was awesome. The entrance was spectacular and it looks so real(animals). We were seated at the First Balcony and the view was great! It seems like I'm watching on a three dimensional screen. I definitely recommend "The Lion King" to all ages. It is worth your time and money. ✔️ Thank you so much to all the performers/singers/orchestra etc. for doing their best. Keep it up! :)))
Amazing show spectacular talent brought tears to my eyes
Lion king was ama I got it was like watching to movie but with live actors would go see again
I commend the actors/directors/singers/dancers/costume designers. A flawless show that left you breathless. I don't know if there can be another show to top this. WELL DONE
Lion King was pretty good - good singing, costumes, and adaptation of the film - although for the price of the tickets I consider it overpriced. Didn't feel that the value ($150 for first balcony) was there.
I had my doubts going in but from beginning to end it was entertaining and a feast for the eyes as well as the ears. My girls thoroughly enjoyed it. Cost me souvenirs though.
You will not be dissapointed. I enjoyed every minute of it. Cast and costumes: Amazing. If you watch one show a year, this is it.
We took my mom, last minute, to see Lion King for her 72nd birthday. The only thing she really knew of it was the commercials on TV and the music. She had never seen the Walt Disney animated movie. She was so surprised at the beautiful voices and costumes! She was concerned she wasn't going to understand the actors - thought that she would not hear well what they were saying - but soon realized that she had nothing to worry about. This was a beautiful, fantastic performance that you didn't ever want to end.
Bought tickets for my 26 year old daughters birthday, my daughter said it was the best birhday present she got, the show was my new favorite musical, my previous favorite was Cats. whoever did the costume design was truly talented, they were amazing. would highly recommend this show for a truly wonderful family night out.
I had the opportunity to see the Lion King on Broadway in May 2015. This performance matched the Broadway event.
Great show, the creativeness and use of costumes was something to see.
An absolutely magical experience that I was so grateful to share with my family. I could watch it over and over and over again. Trying to describe it doesn't do it justice. It's something you need to experience for yourself. The sets and costumes were out of this world, the music was amazing, and the singing, dancing and choreography was outstanding. Seeing the tears of joy on my mom's face when the show started and my daughter's face light up with awe at the magic created on that stage has left me with memories I will cherish forever! An absolute MUST see for anyone and everyone!!! Loved, loved, loved it!!!
Great music and amazing costumes. I can't imagine the creativity that went into this. Must-see for anyone who grew up with this movie. The human actors brought an interesting perspective to the story.
The costumes and puppets were superb. The way that the puppets were moved about was fascinating. The silhouette scenes were mesmerizing. It was a visual treat in all aspects! The humor worked well. The music was lovely to hear again, however not all the lyrics were understandable. It was a lot of fun and you left feeling great!
Absolutely Amazing...Costuming and colour was unforgettable...Entertained from beginning to ending...Was on my Bucket List (Now checked) but I would go to see it again if the opportunity arose...
I took my 12 year old daughter to the Lion King at the Jub and it was fantastic, the opening scene when all the animals of the Serengeti walk out of the wings, the audience the catwalks and onto the stage is worth the price of admission. The colors, the creativity is only surpassed by the music and the singing. Add the comedy and it is a wonderful evening out with anyone, but sharing it with family was the best part. Only thing I would change is I would buy tickets closer to the stage. The balcony was fine, but I honestly think a seat closer would have been even better.
The show was awesome they way they did the animals it was like they were real. I would watch this 100 times again
The Lion King is a professionally created and masterly produced production of singing dancing and acting of the most top notch quality. The choreography, singing acting and set design will blow you away. The costumes were so creative and memorizing. The total show was spectacular from beginning to end.
