THE LION KING premiered on Broadway in 1997 and has since become the third-longest-running musical on Broadway and the first to hit the $1 billion mark at the box office. The North American tour is an equally grand theatrical achievement, having welcomed over 20 million theatergoers in more than 80 cities.The six-time Tony Award-winning production features direction by Julie Taymor, music and lyrics by Elton John and Tim Rice, and choreography by Garth Fagan. For over two decades, the touring production’s visual tapestry has enchanted audiences across North America and continues to be a “must-see” live event, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Captivating! Incredible performance! The whole family can enjoy this one. The music was beautiful, brought you right back to the movie. We loved this show.
Was very impressed with show . One of the best parts was the opening scene when all the animals came down the aisles. Very impressed how the actors brought the puppets to life.
From the goose bumps I got from the opening sequence to the fantastic costumes, I was absolutely floored from the beginning to the end. Well executed, breath-taking costumes and sets and just a little more than you'd expect if you're a fan of the movie. Well worth it, I would see it again, and again...and again.

This was my third time seeing The Lion King and I'd go again! The costumes, music, and story are put together like no other broadway I've seen. Truly amazing and breathtaking!
This was the third time that I saw the Lion King; it was definitely the best, even compared to London! I love how the show is kept current and there is always something better about the costumes, if that is even possible! My favourite comedy quip "Let it go!"
A magical evening of unbelievable music, singing, dance, puppetry and costumes.
From the "warning order" sent to make the evening more pleasurable to the final curtain call, this was an amazing event. I'm not sure that any part was any better than the other. The costumes, the actors, the music was all spectacular. The only thing I was envious of was the VIP gift, it was so much nicer than the tote bag that I bought.
I felt like I was part of the jungle the whole time. It brought me back to when I watched the movie with my children now in their forties and fifties and I felt wonderful. I couldn't believe it was over so soon.

Great production. Such a thrill to see this show at last.....been waiting years for it to be close enough. Well worth the wait. The cast was wonderful....the songs beautifully sung... And the costumes were incredible. What a show!

This is the third time I have seen Lion King and I never tire of this show, It was beautifully done! The dancing was amazing, the vocalists were remarkable, costumes breathtaking and over all, a joy filled event. I am a huge fan!!
There was nothing about this show I didn't like. The cast was great. The songs amazing. The performance OUTSTANDING. They had the cast come out into the audience for bits of the show which was fantastic!!! I would recommend this to EVERYONE.
It was good, but there were some technical issues that shouldn't have happened. I don't know if the sound guys were just not in tune with the show or what, but there were times when the ensemble started singing but their mics weren't enabled until the first bars were done. Overall, it was enjoyable.
Took my 9 year old grand daughter, she said that was her best gift ever,never took her eyes off the show.

This was an amazing performance. I've been to many Broadway musicals and I think this was by far one of the best I've ever seen! Highly recommended! Plus who doesn't love Disney!
This concert was spell binding; time went by so fast. It was funny, happy and expectations were reached. Loved the music, costumes and the pace. Would go again and enjoy it again! Loved it!
