    Awesome show!

by KDVancouver on 2017-10-17Moore Theatre - Seattle

So much energy! Such great guitar work! Top notch players and a full set! Unfortunately, our expensive seats had a view that was obstructed and couldn't see backup singers or keyboardist.

    October 3, 2017

by KAB123 on 2017-10-10Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The show started promptly before 8PM. Loved the band and the backup singers. There were a few songs at the end I did not recognize. Is there a set list? Loved the tribute to Tom Petty. This was the fourth time I've seen Joe and nothing compares to the first time in Vancouver in the 7th row at the Orpheum! Our seats were higher this time and there was some confusion with ticket holders sitting in the wrong seat and too much traffic during first 20 minutes of set. I think there should have been a heads up that concert was starting and get people to their seats on time.

One of the best Blues Guitar players I’ve seen!

by BigBluesFan on 2017-10-09Pantages Playhouse Theatre - Winnipeg

Really enjoyed the show! Joe Bonamassa is an amazing blues guitar player! I would have given it a five star rating however the sound was excessively loud to the point of deafening. I have been to a number of concerts in this venue and Joe’s concert was by far the loudest. Had seats on the ground floor center near the back. The speakers they used appeared to be large stadium speakers which produced way too much sound for this intimate venue. It was hard to hear the individual musicians with it being so loud. The noise level also drowned out the lyrics.

    Stellar show as usual

by jerzyski on 2017-10-08Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

As usual Joe put on a stellar show (my 6th time to see him). I wasn't crazy about the set list as I was hoping to see more of Joe doing what he does best. He must be getting mellow as he allowed the band to be more involved and it wasn't just about him and his amazing talent.

    Phenomenal

by highexpectations on 2017-10-07Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Show started right on time. Very professional set up and performance. Very slick. Bonamassa played for 2 solid hours,no intermission. One long encore. Amazing band and back-up singers. Mid way through concert Bonamassa addressed audience and introduced his band. Only concern was that sound system a little too loud for theatre, could have been toned down slightly. Similar with strobe lights which shone straight into eyes of those seated on First Balcony. Thinking some of other concert venues may be better suited to sound and light system. Overall fantastic concert. Treat to see Bonamassa live.

    Joe Bonamassa was incredible!!!!

by Stratostrophic on 2017-10-07Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The top 3 guitarists I've seen live: 1 Stevie Ray Vaughan 2 Joe Bonamassa 3 Eric Clapton In my opinion the ONLY player Bonamassa takes a backseat to in playing, tunes and performance is Stevie Ray Vaughan. He's truly an other worldly talent and performer.... Whatever it costs.... Whatever it costs to see him...PAY IT!!!! He's a once in a generation talent.

    Joe was awesome as usual!

by Bonafan on 2017-10-06Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Great show from start to finish. Joe is so accomplished and his band is second to none. Great versions of all his original material and very full covers of Albert King and Led Zeppelin. Joe's solos were spectacular - including a guitar switch after a string break in the opening number. Joe is better live than on a studio album which is a pretty rare accomplishment in this era of heavily produced artists/material.

    A true guitar master

by bent13 on 2017-10-06Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

A superb performance . Our seats obscured our view of one member of the horn section, however it was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect evening

    Hey Joe ❤️

by Shrekpancake on 2017-10-06Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The only thing that would have made the show better was him playing longer. Amazing musicians and back up vocals. Love the full sound with brass and back up vocals. If you like blues this man will certainly grow on you.

The show was great. Joe's amazing. Saw him in Vancouver a couple years back and he never lets you down. Disappointed he didn't play "Drive" but he has so many great songs.

Joe Bonamassa was awesome, but way TOO LOUD!!!!!

by linjo on 2017-10-06Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Our group of 8 would have REALLY enjoyed the concert except for the fact that we either had to put earplugs in or hold our ears with our fingers. The audience was not young, so we are not sure who the soundman was trying to please. The show would have been MUCH more enjoyable at a decent sound level. If you are planning on attending one of Joe Bonamass's concerts, don't forget your earplugs!!!

Concert was great, sound guy sucked.

by NicknameME on 2017-10-06Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Concert was great, a bit disappointed in song list, but overall good concert. Sound guy had the backup singers so distorted that they sounded like howling cats from where we sat. They were also often louder than Joe. I'm sure they're great, but we couldn't tell.
