  • A refreshing excellent band

by Ferrydriver on 2024-08-27Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Christone "Kingfish"is an amazing cross between BB King and Jimmy Hendrix. On each number, he ends up exploring several awesome horizons before bringing it all back home. It's refreshing to see a fine guitar player who doesn't succumb to the usual shred rifts. He returned for the obligatory encore, but stretched it out as he was having a good time along with the audience. One of the best live shows to see and hear.

  • Outstanding talented King Fish

Kingfish is going to be a legend. He already rivals the greats at 25. One of the best shows I have been to in years.

Excellent show! He sure can play! Cross between BB King and Jimi Hendricks.Enjoyed it but the Commodore shouldn’t have all the chairs for reservations.

  • Christine “ Kingfish” Ingram

by Stuball on 2024-08-26Commodore Ballroom - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Christone was an unexpected delight. He had a small band and brought the blues from the Delta and the Funk. Look forward to seeing him again down the road.

  • Great show, don't know if best venue

by Jordan on 2024-06-05The Opera House - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Concert was awesome, with a great opener in Spencer Mackenzie, and a 2 hour set from Kingfish. Lots of excellent instrumental runs and solos, they really rocked and brought great energy. The venue sound was good but not sure if it was the best in terms of capacity and configuration. Lower floor was packed and at some points, audience members weren't allowed down and had to stand in the middle area set back from the lower floor and under the balcony.
