Kings of Leon are a four-time Grammy-winning rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee. Since their inception in 1999, the group’s lineup has been composed of the Followill brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared, along with their first cousin Matthew Followill. The band emerged with their debut album, Youth & Young Manhood, in 2003, while subsequent releases like 2005’s Aha Shake Heartbreak and 2007’s Because of the Times further established the band as Southern rock staples in the American and international mainstream. Kings of Leon’s 2008 album Only by the Night earned the band’s first RIAA double-platinum certification with hit singles like “Sex on Fire” and “Use Somebody,” the latter of which peaked at a career-best No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, 2010’s Come Around Sundown and 2013’s Mechanical Bull both reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while their 2016 effort WALLS became Kings of Leon’s first No. 1 debut. In 2021, the group released their eighth album, When You See Yourself.

Kings of Leon put on an a fantastic show. They sound exactly like they do on their albums. Amazing set.
Dawes was fantastic - great musicians playing great material, would absoutely travel to see them again...hoping the "band stays together". Wish the two girls behind us could have shut up and let us listen instead of yelling their conversation behind us... Kings of Leon - amazing songs. Had to close my eyes for much of it because of backlighting shining in my eyes but that's okay because the lack of chemistry between band members isn't much to look at anyway. To those who coordinate lighting - do you not know that we don't want to strain to see the show when we are under the spot light?
Seats were great. But the Mrs centre wasn't sold out and it seemed like there was a lack of effort from kings of leon. No encore
My partner and I could not see King of Leon's on stag or tv screens. We had floor seats and when Kings of Leon started everyone ahead of us stood and we did not see a thing. We left the floor seats and found empty seats in the 100 section and the same thing happened with people standing in front, which blocked our view of stage and screens. We left after 5 songs. We could have just had easily watched this on DVD in the comfort of our home. What a waste of our monies to watch Kings of Leon's. It was rude of people to stand when others cannot stand for long periods of time. People need to be respectful and considerate of others. Thanks for reading.
I loved everything about the show!! The stage set up was unique and intimate and the vocals were beyond amazing, live!! Fantastic show!! I loved them before but love them even more now!! Thanks for the great time, Kings of Leon!!
Love their music but wish there was a little more stage presence and engagement with the crowd.
The band was awesome as usual but I was disgusted with the outrageous merch prices. $90 for a t-shirt?
I've been to LOTS of concerts - first time I've seen a set change in the middle of a performance, Also the first there wasn't an encore.
They played each song perfectly like they’re albums. These guys are worth the money to see.
Kings of Leon never put on a bad show! Great seeing them live again. Seats were very close to the stage, and we had a great view of the band. People in our row were also very friendly, and nice to sit beside. They played all their old music, which is something I definitely appreciated as well. Can't wait for them to come to Edmonton again.
The KOL concert was great DAWES was Ok, however I feel as a fan paying for backstage passes I thought we would get to meet KOL. Whatever happened to meeting the band?????
Was to long waiting and not that much energy left before it was over and was standing seven people from stage. We waited for two years for them to come and was nothing compared to the last time I saw them.
Show started 1.5 hours late. Performance was good but the whole stage setup seemed unorganized.
The band sounded great, their energy was great! After the band had difficulty getting to Calgary, they were determined to put on a good show for us and they certainly did.
They are a great band on disc, but live they are quite underwhelming.
Loved the concert bring them back. They have way more great songs we didn't get to hear.
They were awesome live!! Would see them again forsure!
If you ever get a chance to check this band out... Just do it!!! Time well spent!
Friday night in Edmonton and expected a little bit more. The show started with a band called Dawes, pretty forgettable to be sadly honest and even when Kings of Leon started there was a lack of energy in the arena. They did warm up and the show improved especially when they played their back catalogue, allowing the crowd to get more into it. Having seen them previously at Rexal I had flash backs as the show was very much the same with a few new songs. Did not stay until the end as I said the whole experience felt flat. maybe it was just one of those nights.
Kings of Leon have awesome songs and sound spot-on live, but their stage presence is so vacant that the atmosphere is pretty lacklustre — which is especially noticeable in a large venue like Rogers Place! I've seen KOL three times over a span of 12 years, and it's safe to say that the more enthusiastic vibe they had at the start of their career is now dead and gone.
