Great show, except for the sound

Nice line up and a great show. Volbeat and All that remains were awesome
AIRBOURNE was on way too early! ALLTHAT REMAINS killed it! H.I.M. in my opion sucked so bad I walked out! couldn't understand a thing like a bunch a whiney emo kids band! then of course VOLBEAT destroyed there set, whole crowd was into it. VOLBEAT didn't disappoint.
Volbeat was the only band of the four that you could actually here the lyrics. Not sure if the venue (Rexall) is to blame or the sound mixers but the end result was very disappointing.
All the bands were very energetic and memorable! Ive seen HIM twice before in Edmonton, this was the first time I've seen them engaging the audience and having a good time onstage. AND the autograph signing was awesome, more bands should do that and give their fans a chance to meet them. Volbeat was perfect, they sound exactly the same live as they do on the albums. All in all this was probably the best concert I've been to this year.
The show was absolutely amazing except one group. HIM was exciting for very few. Their English and stage presence was horrible. First off when talking to the audience they very few times they did, their English speaking was very quick and I found it extremely difficulty understanding them. Maybe their songs are slower but for that line up I feel it was a terrible addition. I along with almost everyone surround me was getting ready for a snooze. There was movement from the people standing on the floor. The band was not audience interactive which made it more painful. Airbourne, All That Remains and Volbeat were absolutely fantastic with wonderful stage presence, especially Volbeat! Minus the boring show HIM put on it was amazing! Seating: Choose seats a few rows higher or pick the first few rows in that section (section 116, row 9, seats 13/14) if possible. There is a slight bar blockage from a stadium entrance which is rather annoying.
Volbeat was outstanding again! Missed the better 2 opening acts in airborne and all that remains! H.i.m. Should not have co-mained that event! But money well spent just to see Volbeat again!
Airbourne, All That Remains, HIM & VOLBEAT, were absolutely amazing! The sound was spot on, the crowd was great! I could not have asked for a better show! This was my second time seeing VOLBEAT, and I will definitely see them again!!!
All I want to say is sound check one two one two! I could not hear a single word that came out of the lead singer from HIM's mouth. The sound wasn't perfect to begin with at Rexall Place and the fact that they didn't bother to make sure they could be heard really made us mad. And they seemed to be on the stage FOREVER! The lead singer kept leaving the band playing long songs and would head off stage for whatever it was he was doing... There were a lot of disappointed people! On the other hand, All That Remains and Volbeat sounded excellent! Worth the money for them. Could've been on stage a bit longer but it's okay. Totally missed Airborne as they were first and only on for 25 mins (we were late). VOLBEAT ROCKS!!!! And they sounded exactly how they do on their album which I love!
Volbeat was absolutely fantastic. Great music, great setlist, and great show with the crowd. HIM was also great, with fantastic music and a great light show. All That Remains and Airbourne were also good, short setlist, but a little bit on the loud side, so that made it hard to distinguish some of the lyrics. Love their music, but they just need to cut the volume a notch so people can enjoy them more!
