Fantastic concert full of energy. Excellent sound and took me back many years I didn’t expect Carlos to disappoint me.
A truly magical event and one of the best concerts we have seen in years. It was a great ride and we were in the hands of musical masters who enjoyed the ride as much as you did. The venue was ideal to showcase these amazing musicians. We would gladly hop on this musical ride again.
Watched Santana in Jan. @ the House of Blues in Vegas and was incredible. Was a lot smaller and more intimate. The sound and lighting was so much more extravagant @ the OLG Stage. Put on a 2 hour show that we didn’t want to end. Overall we gave it a 10+ and would go again.
Sound was excellent.Seats excellent.Santana was very engaging with the audience.
The talent was just oozing off the stage. Hats off to all the musicians much more than I expected just an incredible show recommend it to anyone!!!
enjoyed the videos of indigenous peoples dancing.unique SUPER loved the band closeups This was The Man doing his thing with his ""family"" ......Love Add another star or 2 for me
Carlos was fabulous just like every other time I've seen him. Outstanding band, nice venue. A good time was had by all
I love the convenience of tickets for this show and the seat I got was front and center. This is my second time watching Santana live and it is always a wo derful experience. He still plays his classics, but I wish he played "Samba Pa Ti" but he left that out of his set. At any rate it was a joy to see a sold out stadium crowd dancing to his music. I may have been part of the younger crowd but Santana's music brings everyone together.
We have seen Santana many times at different venues. This show was amazing and a great venue to watch shows.
Non stop! Hit after hit, the band is second to non! I can’t wait to see them again. As a drummer/percussionist, I couldn’t stop moving. The vocals were great and as always Carlos made his guitar sing!
Superb show!! We Love Santana and his band they are all amazing and Everyone did an exceptional and good job! It was the beat night ever!
An absolute blast ! Great music , great atmosphere , great venue !
A man who needs no introduction — 50 years of incredible sonicscapes and creativity. Hit the OLG stage at 8:00 on the nose and was off to the races with Soul Sacrifice and other early hits. I think he is playing better not than even decades ago. Flawless and soulful master. His wife Cindy is a powerhouse on drums and the fleshed out rhythm sections (Congas and others drums) was brilliant. The vocalists were on point and the whole vibe was upbeat and almost mystical. Carlos has such command of the audience and his instrument while also be a generous bandleader showcasing the depth of assembled talent. For whatever reason, Santana was never in my “top 10” growing up — that was a judgement error. If I get another chance to see him again, I am running back. Absolutely enthralling. And the OLG stage is quickly becoming a “must see” venue for quality acts. Love it.
Earth, Wind and Fire really got us going with their classic and we boogied all the time they were playing. Santana was amazing!! His skills are mind blowing! Thank you for a great night after waiting for two years for this!
An overall evening of ROCK SOLID, DIALED IN SOUND EXTRAVAGANZA with TWO EXTREMELY TALENTED BANDS. It was like a 2 for 1 event for ALL who witnessed the tantilizing ear candy sound. Definetly a 11 out of 10 Rating(maybe even a 12.5). THANKS for the experience!!!
I never wanted it to leave. Santana was one of the best concerts I’ve been to
The experience was great except that I am short and couldn’t see the stage because people were standing up in front of me as we were on the lawn. We are thankful that the rain held off though.
Awesome Night....high energy performance for EWF and had so much fun listening to Carlos Santana's pour out his soul to every tune
We arrived about 20 minutes early only to find a HUGE line up outside of the venue! And no one monitoring the line so latecomers joined the line near the front, rather than the back. There were only two people working at the door on our side (not sure about the other side, but assuming there were two there) which was not NEARLY enough to handle the size of the crowd...especially when the concert was supposed to start at 7:00. We rushed in and took our seats about 20 minutes late only to miss the first few songs of Earth Wind and Fire. The concession RAN OUT OF BEER at intermission (ironic being the Budweiser stage) which was disappointing. Concert was fantastic but venue is managed poorly.
First time I saw Santana was back in the 70's (??) at Massey Hall with John McLaughlin. Several times since. Every time (this time too) I get the tingle that goes with a special experience: this is an absolute Icon of music, and he is right 'here'! He lives up to the expectation. Time is immaterial. His set list in Toronto was a walk through the '70s foundation that made him famous: opening with Soul Sacrifice and Jingo - reminiscent of Woodstock. Followed by more recent items. Wow. It was incredible. Even when he turns 90 and has lost some of his skills, he will still be SANTANA. He is a person of huge value to our cultural history and still plays music that elevates the soul.
