Thirty Seconds to Mars began as a musical outlet for brothers Jared and Shannon Leto in 1998, and the pair have remained the core of the experimental rock group throughout its existence. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2002 and broke onto the Billboard 200; it went on to sell over 2 million copies. Thirty Seconds to Mars experienced a jump for their 2005 follow-up A Beautiful Lie, which featured their first Hot 100 single “The Kill (Bury Me)” and first No. 1 on the Alternative Airplay chart in “From Yesterday.” The band supported the album with their first headlining tour in 2006. This Is War arrived in 2009, followed by the band’s Into the Wild world tour, which set a Guinness World Record for "longest concert tour by a rock band" between 2010 and 2011. The band’s subsequent two albums, 2013’s Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams and 2018’s America, both debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, while the latter hosted Thirty Seconds to Mars’ first No. 1 single on the Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, “Walk on Water.” In 2023, the band released their sixth album, It's the End of the World but It's a Beautiful Day.

What a show ! Jared and Shannon know how to put the crowd on fire
Thirty Seconds to Mars is amazing in concert; almost a religious experience! Jared Leto is mesmerizing and the show was perfect! Only one complaint: I would've taken another hour of songs!!!
I've been to every one of their shows in Toronto (except last year when they opened for Muse) since the release of their self titled album. This concert was ok. It was obvious Jared was singing over the tracks for some songs and there must have been something going on with Shannon's drums because he constantly had someone running out to look at something or tell him something. Jared's stage presence was awesome but I think he spends too much time telling the crowd to sing, jump, or raise their hands. In terms of singing it's probably 60% Jared/40% crowd. The set list was a mix of the last three albums and they actually (to my surprise) played The Kill in full. After the show I made up my mind that unless they're doing an anniversary tour for one of their first two albums or theres a good sale on tickets, I'm done supporting the band through expensive concert tickets. As a fan since the very beginning, it's upsetting that they continue to ignore long time fans by never playing anything from before This is War. Like I said, I'm honestly shocked they played The Kill. Judging by some of the old merch I saw being worn (arrow, glyphs, etc), I wasn't the only long time fan there and imagine I'm not alone with these feelings.
Very interactive with the crowd!! Loved them. Jared Leto is my ideal future husband :D No, but seriously this band is not just musically talented. The message behind every single song is so powerful. I love that they use their fame to speak out about the many issues we face as a whole, and they make it sound so fkn good while doing it!
The concert was very good, and lived up to the expectations I had. The only drawback is that the lack of Tomo at the guitars made the stage feel a lot empty, even though the Leto brothers made their best to ensure everyone had a great time.Something else that I felt the concert was short on delivering was some songs from their very first self titled album. There are several great pieces there that would be awesome on a large stage, but this is the 30 Seconds to Mars we get now. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to another concert, especially if they get a main guitar back to play more rock oriented tracks.
The whole evening was fantastic. I was a bit skeptical at 1st to have 3 opening acts but they were all very entertaining. It was extremely enjoyable. But the cherry on the cake was 30 Seconds to Mars. What a great venue for them to have played in. Large enough but yet still intimate. It was the 1st time that I have seen them live and it will not be the last. Jared Leto is a dynamic frontman and showman! The songs were absolutely unforgettable. Amazing to watch them live.
Thirty Seconds to Mars puts on a great show. Lots of audience involvement. Had the best time!
30secmars. It was cool how they involved the crowd throughout the show. The bands lighting system/effects was amazing.
Best show ever for me. Im in love with Jared. Would go again for sure.
The show rocked! Jared Leto knows how to engage the fans and get them singing and dancing along with him. Many people were invited onstage, so fan implication was definitely there :). There were balloons and confetti to accentuate the ambiance. The sound was great, the stage was small but the lighting and props were on point.
Jared Leto = showmanship. What a night ! Walk the moon where the opening act which was incredible !
Amazing show by 30 seconds to mars!!! Jared Leto is a beast as always!!! Would go back anytime!!
Unforgettable experience with 30 seconds to mars. We had an amazing time. Jared and shannon killed it. Can’t wait till they come back to Toronto.
Love love love 30 STM They are my absolute favorite
I was able to upgrade my seats from the 400 section to the 200 section which was really awesome. I wasn't super impressed with the bands set list, but I fully understand that it's their decision which songs they play.
Amazing show. Very interactive and entertaining for the entire show. Jared is extremely talented and a true performer.
It was a great concert, they had the crowd involved and had everyone on their feet dancing! An amazing atmosphere and a perfect venue, the acoustics were the best!
30 Seconds to Mars gave an unforgettable performance on June 6th 2018 at the Budweiser Stage Toronto. The band was amazing!! Jared Leto picked me to come up on stage for a song, but by the time I got down to the stage, security wouldn't let me through. I was heartbroken. Security really needs to watch out for whoever the stars call on stage. That would have been a dream come true for me. So again, the band was amazing... Security??? Not so much...
Walk the Moon was great...upbeat and enjoyable. 30 secs to Mars didn't disappoint. Never seen them before and for not being a hardcore fan I was engaged and really enjoyed the show. Great energy, awesome crowd interaction. Will see them again...looking forward to next year!
