A Flock of Seagulls on Tour

Get ready to ride the wave. A Flock of Seagulls are on tour and bringing their new wave hits to the stage with all the energy their fans and audiences remember. The band's peak success was found in the early 1980s and they are returning on tour to reunite with the generation that made them famous. The 2022 and 2023 tour will span the United States, making 10 stops along the way. Fans of the band will be thrilled to hear hits from their youth such as  "I Ran (So Far Away,)"  "Space Age Love Song," "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You" and "The More You Live, the More You Love." The tour promises to deliver nostalgia and new memories to all who attend.

A Flock of Seagulls Live in Concert

A Flock of Seagulls formed in 1979 in Liverpool. Lead vocalist and keyboardist Mike Score is also the founder of the band. Other current members include Kevin Rankin on drums, Gord Deppe on guitar and Pando on bass. The group's debut single "(It's Not Me) Talking," set them on the path to success. The band was signed to major label Jive in 1982 and distributed through CBS records, where they released their second single "Telecommunication." This Grammy-winning synthpop group grew to infamy with their offbeat haircuts and unconventional and eclectic music style, an unforgettable combination that has fans still reeling for more. The band attributes a large amount of their early success with the support and playtime they received from MTV.  In 2018, the band's original members released a new album titled Ascension, their first studio recording since 1984. The 12-track album featured the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.  Following the success of this album, the band released another highly anticipated album -- String Theory, which again featured the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra -- in 2021. The band continues to proudly demonstrate their uniqueness and off-the-cuff style. A Flock of Seagulls is bringing the nostalgia back with their 2022 and 2023 tour across the United States.

Spoons and Men Without Hats were AWESOME! Flock of Seagulls were terrible!......audience totally cleared out! Boring, Lead singer didnt say one word, no did he address or even look at the crowd. Couldn't hear or understand a word he sang.

Spoons and Men Without Hats were fantastic, lots of energy and had the crowd pumped. Flock of Seagulls took all the aur out. Left before they finished

  • Loved seeing three bands all in one night.

Great experience. Spoons by far was the best band. Flock of seagulls was disappointing. Didn’t play many of the popular songs until the last 2 songs.

  • Open late

The concert was great. The real issue is that knowing it was going to be a long concert it opened at 9pm. Many people travel a distance to come to rama and see the concerts. More thought should be made to have them at 8pm... not 9.

  • Great to see these bands!!

First off, it was a great concert! I wish The Spoons would have capped off the night instead of The Flock. The Spoons and Men without Hats were amazing. Though I liked The Flock, I found they played alot of older "punkish" stuff.

  • Fun Night

by SHBS on 2016-09-16Mandalay Bay Beach at Mandalay Bay Resort - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

We had a lot of fun but were disappointed that most of the bands were pretty much solo acts. I would recommend getting a house band to fill in the gaps. It looked like Karoake when only the lead singer walked on to the stage with recorded music playing in the background. The energy and excitement was lost during those acts. The pauses between the bands were long....a lot of people left because of this. Wang Chung, Berlin and Flock of Seagulls were amazing. The audience energy was great and we did end up having a really good night.

  • A good time

A great venue for a concert.Very intimate and it worked well for the band.Mike played all the favourites and they looked like they enjoyed themselves.A meet and greet session afterwards was a great surprise! They don't play often in Canada so we had to come to them.A good time for our road crew!

Please go see them, did not disappoint, had been waiting to see Mike Score for years.Even though Mike is the only original, they played every song just how I wanted to hear it.And I guess that is what matters

  • Flock of Seagulls in Calgary

It was a good, but short show (1hr 20min, including encore). Only the original singer / keyboard player remains. The crowd didn't really warm up until the last 15 min of the show.
