About

Back in 2004, four lifelong musicians got together down in Florida. Even though they had traveled separate paths, similar lessons learned, wisdom earned, and dues paid united these gentlemen--Myles Kennedy [vocals, guitar], Mark Tremonti [guitar, vocals], Brian Marshall [bass], and Scott Phillips [drums]--as Alter Bridge. Over the ensuing two decades, the band endured countless trials and tribulations, defied every odd, and rose to the head of the pack as a hard rock juggernaut, cementing a singular legacy by selling out arenas, gathering nearly 1 billion streams, inciting international acclaim, and quietly attracting a diehard audience. Beginning with the Top 5 entry of 2004's gold-certified One Day Remains, the band have scored six consecutive Top 20 debuts on the Billboard 200. Among a myriad of highlights, Guitarist Magazine applauded "Blackbird" for the "Greatest Guitar Solo of All Time," the ABIII single "Isolation" vaulted to #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart, 2013's Fortress received rare perfect scores from KERRANG! and Total Guitar, and Walk The Sky shook the Top Rock Albums Chart at #1. Beyond packing O2 Arena and Royal Albert Hall, Classic Rock hailed 2022's Pawns & Kings as "the Rolls-Royce of Alter Bridge records" in a 4.5-out-of-5 star review. Plus, the latter LP garnered praise from American Songwriter, Guitar World, and Loudwire, while Billboard christened them "one of America's premiere hard rock quartets." Channeling the same hunger, the band continue to push themselves on their self-titled eighth full-length offering, Alter Bridge [Napalm Records]. It embodies everything they're known for such as the precise riffs, towering hooks, and solos that practically break guitar strings as they burst through the clouds.

Fantastic Show! Dirty Honey was hot; Skillet was next level energy-wise, and Alter Bridge is just a gift from the heavens! Loved every moment of it and cannot wait to see them again!!

Although Myles was suffering from a cold, they are still an amazing band. All band members are truly talent musicians. These guys are totally under-rated!!

Mark tremonti and Myles Kennedy are the most professional entertainers and great regular people. I have personally witnessed this extension of respect and professionalism.

  • Finally a Headlining Show in Montreal

by Ibanez on 2017-02-12Metropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

After waiting for years, we finally got a headlining show in Montreal. Had seen them at Heavy Mtl, but way too short of a set. Great musician, good energy, eventhough Myles was sick. Due to illness we did not get the 2 acoustic songs(Wonderful Life and Watch Over Yoy), which is a shame, but what can we do. Very generous.

The sound wasn't perfect, however the band was awesome!

  • AB at is best

    by Oli98 on 2017-02-06Metropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

What an incredible event it was! THe sound at Metropolis was really great and the bands give us an incredible performence. Weaponjs of anew was okay for the 20 minutes they had. Nonpoint was amazing and brings the energy to the crowd and use it at it's best! And Alter Bridge was great with their heavier songs they put in theirs setlist. It was my second big show that I saw live and I was not disappointed.

  • There is no words

by MaryOaks on 2017-02-06Metropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5

There is no words to describe how amazing they are. If you don't know what I'm talking about, get online and discover. Watch live videos, watch interviews, read their lyrics.... You won't regret it. There's nothing like AB. And they sure gave an incredible show. Been through all emotions possible being in the crowd.

  • Alter Bridge Was Great

by 92Gibsonlespaul on 2017-02-04 Rebel (Formerly known as Sound Academy) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I were side stage left in a raise platform seating area but we never used the seats. Alter Bridge are one of my favorite bands, we saw them in Sayreville, New Jersey in 2013 and I was glad they came to Toronto. We were 25 feet from the stage and could see the muscles in Brian Marshall's right arm move as he mastered the bass just like Steve Harris or Geezer Butler. My wife, who is a hard fan but doesn't know all the Alter Bridge songs, gave this concert an A+. Opening band, NONPOINT were good as well. For me, it was definitely an A+ show.

  • Amazing night with Alter Bridge

by Stix2002 on 2017-02-04 Rebel (Formerly known as Sound Academy) - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

From start to finish this was a show not to be missed, the sound was clear, the crowd was into it and the band was awesome. I hope Alter Bridge comes back sooner and makes Toronto a regular stop on their North American tours from now on.

  • Alter Bridge Simply Amazing!

by challenger22 on 2011-06-01Best Buy Theater - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

  • been there, done that

by kizzo on 2011-01-03Showbox at the Market - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

I'm curious as to why AB played 5 songs off their 1st album, 10 off their 2nd album, and then only 5 from their new album. ABIII has 16 songs, and the band only played 5. I'm A little disappointed cuz I wanted to here a lot more from ABIII

  • ALTER BRIDGE ROCKED OUR WORLD!!!!

by AliDelaporte on 2011-01-03Showbox at the Market - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

My buddy and I came down from Vancouver to see this show and were MORE than impressed. Like a storm rocked - what a fun first opener and from Vancouver too! We talked to them after the show and what lovely guys :) Next came Taddy Porter, aslo talked to these dudes after the show; down to earth and stellar. Their shocked us with how wicked they were! NOW to the Main event... ALTER BRIDGE!!! We were absolutely blown away with how great they were! Mark Tremonti shredded that guitar like no other and Miles Kennedy - well you hopefully already know - the man has an incredible voice! The whole band had such awesome stage presence and gave us the gift of their rocking music. Tough day to come down on... Jan 1st... but so so so worth it. CAN'T WAIT for these boys to come up to Canada!
