    Andre Rieu

by Jovi on 2009-07-15General Motors Place - Vancouver

This was our third Andre Concert and we certainly enjoyed. The weather was warm and GM Place could have had some cooler air. Many seniors found it very warm.

Andre and his Orchestra do not disappoint!

by Calvers on 2009-07-15General Motors Place - Vancouver

My husband and I enjoyed every moment of this fabulous presentation. Andre is personable, funny, and extrememly comfortable in his role as Entertainer! This Group does not just play music, they truly entertain - from facial expressions to Body language as well as carefully selected musical pieces. Even if you don't really appreciate classical styles, it is still a worthy event!

    Andre Rieu

by Nat1964 on 2009-07-15General Motors Place - Vancouver

Our family of nine went to see Andre Rieu show in Vancouver. My adult kids went with us b/c I bought all the tickets and to make my day, but they were not expecting to enjoy it. They are ages 19 to 23 years old. We also took my mother-in-law who is 82 and has watched every Andre Rieu show on TV for years, but never live. At the end, everyone of them absolutely loved it! They said they could have easily stayed for another hour. They would love to go again. My son proposed to his girlfriend earlier that day, so this was a great way to celebrate their engagement, enjoying the show together.

    An Evening of Charm

by HeronRest on 2009-07-15General Motors Place - Vancouver

In this day and age when one can hardly hear the modern music for all the noise it makes, it is a joy to be entertained by real musicians playing unforgettable works by the masters. Thumbs up to Andre Rieu for brining this to us. I will see him everytime he comes here, which is every year I hope.

    Andre Rieu concert was wonderful!

by cheers on 2009-07-15General Motors Place - Vancouver

The music, the conductor, the audience, the orchestra - just one-of-a-kind! It is unusual to enjoy not only a performance, but the audience reaction, who showed real joy. The musicians were also really tuned into the spirit of the music. I appreciated the comments of conductor Rieu who spoke eloquently of the need for a world of unity and music's contribution to this goal. All-in-all - it was a privilege to be in that audience - I enjoyed every minute of it!

Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra

by Metropolis on 2009-07-15General Motors Place - Vancouver

Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra was an amazing experience. You will never get this kind of music in a ballroom where as of real people playing and singing different types of melody, but he just doesn't play music he also talks about life as where the music follows. If you haven't been any of his concerts or parties before, well it's your chance to go for once in a life time when he visits your city. His tickets maybe expensive, but it's worth to go and to experience how he plays and what he plays with his Johann Strauss Orchestra.

    Andre is the top artist

by Reenee on 2009-07-14General Motors Place - Vancouver

It was the most entertaining night we have had for a long time. The orchestra, the singers and the tenors were absolute marvelous. The organisation and the people who were there for information ,was perfect regulated. The only thing we hoped to see in a live performance, was the girl playing the trompet, with here excellent interpretation of "Il Silensio". Unfortunately it was not in that night's program. Hopefully it will be there next year when Andre returns to Vancouver.

    What an Evening!

by yoshigirlsmum on 2009-07-14General Motors Place - Vancouver

I have never been so entertained and amazed at the talent displayed this evening with Andre Rieu and his Johan Straus Orchestra. Everything about the whole night was magical. The ball gowns and tuxedos, the opera singing guests, the pieces that were played, the comedy on the side and at the end, the hundreds of balloons that fell from the ceiling. I must say I only went because my Dad asked me to go. Not a concert I would have picked on my own, but after seeing Andre Rieu, I would recommend to anyone that has a chance to see him to cease the opportunity!

Andre Rieu - A night of fun and frolic

by thezoo2 on 2009-07-14General Motors Place - Vancouver

What a great evening! The crowd was a variety of folks - young and old, Mr. Rieu was entertaining, funny, personable and you felt like you were in the audience alone. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did! What a great evening of light hearted entertainment. I'd recommend to anyone!

    Great Music!

by Mac2 on 2009-07-14General Motors Place - Vancouver

We really like the music and the singers. We have seen Andre 3 times now and perhaps it is time for him to change his presentations when he is talking. They are beginning to sound repetitive. What I really liked were all of the hosts who were working the show. They were very accommodating and helpful in getting us older people seated and taken care of.

    Andre was fantastic

by DebraJane on 2009-07-14General Motors Place - Vancouver

It was absolutely amazing. Well worth the flight to go and see this. He brings life to the classics. My teenage son loved it and before thought that it would be boring....his response was....sick, not what I thought it would be. I'd do it again..... sick being...good :)Will do it again. I love the emotion and the love that is put into every performance. They are like a big family!! And you see that they love what they are doing and being there.
