  • Arkells 10/10

by Breeankelly on 2017-02-04UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

From the energy they brought to the connection they made with the crowd. I was blown away with their performance. I'll definitely be seeing them again.

  • So much energy

It was an amazing concert, frank turner and the arkells had so much energy. Arkells continued to bring the openers on with them and had other special guests. Also they both sounded great live. 10/10 recommend

  • Disappointed

by BigFrankTurnerFan on 2017-02-04UBC - Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

I bought the tickets to see Frank Turner, don't really like Arkells and unfortunately, the way the show was billed "Arkells with Frank Turner..." left myself and most of my friends believing that Arkells were supporting FT which turned out to be not the case. I would not have purchased tickets if I had known FT was just the opener for the show. The billing was misleading and unfair to people who really wanted to see Frank Turner...no slight to the Arkells who have a big following and some good tunes, just disappointing when you buy tickets expecting something else.

  • Best performance ever!

This is my second time seeing Arkells perform live. They have incredible energy and showmanship. You will not be disappointed! I also got to meet the band, and they are incredibly friendly and down-to-earth. The only bad thing about this event was that it ended!

  • The incredible Arkells!!

I have seen The Arkells quite a few times, in many a different venues. I have NEVER been disappointed. This by far was the BEST I have ever seen them play. Their set list was impeccable and their energy level was beyond spot on. Can't wait to see them again and again and AGAIN!!

<3 the Arkells! Was my first time seeing them live. awesome choice of venue. They have so much energy on stage and Max has a great way of connecting with his fans!

  • The Arkells were stunning, full stop.

by NateW on 2012-06-13Louis' Pub - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

The Arkells may be the best Canadian pop/rock group around. They played with charisma; their joy was palpable and infectious. And they were tight. Honestly, this was one of the best live performances I've seen in a while. The opening bands were okay--they suffered because of poor sound. Lydia had potential, but coasted song to song on the same wall-of-sound post-emo folk pop formula. The Maine fared better, giving laissez-faire rock a good name.

  • Arkells were awesome

by JeremDB on 2012-02-18The Venue - PeterboroughRating: 5 out of 5

First time attending an event at "The Venue" and was very impressed. There was plenty of room to move around, not squishy, drinks were reasonably priced and it didn't matter where you were, the veiw and and sound was fantastic. The Arkells played an amazing show, the sound of them was amaxing, def rocked the house!

  • Best ever!

Arkells by far put on one of the best live performances I've seen in a real long time. High energy, fan interaction, truly a band that loves what they do and know how make their fans have the best time. If the chance comes up do miss the chance to see this band.

What a great show! The sound at the London Music Hall was great and the Arkells put on an unforgettable concert. I was tempted to make the drive down the 402 to Sarnia to see it all again the following night. Looking forward to seeing these guys again.

One of the best shows that I've been in a while! Arkells are a great band to watch live. Will definitely buy tickets the next time they are in town. Was worth paying the extra money to go up to the balcony. Lots of extra space, bar, washroom and seating. Parking was expensive, but worth it if you don't feel like walking a mile to the venue.

  • A But To Much Staning

by Anonymous on 2011-12-07Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The Band Was Great! I love Arkells and it was a great night! the opening was good too, there was way to much of just standing and listening to music. I mean a lot of standing and listening to music at least and hour and half of just standing in a hot, sweaty room listening to them play the radio. Also the venue was in a terrible location. but at the end, it was worth it for the music

  • Arkells are freaking amazing live!!!!!

    by melmel94 on 2011-12-06the sound academy - torontoRating: 5 out of 5

This would be the second time that I've seen Arkells live, and let me tell you they haven't failed to impress me yet. The show was great and somehow they seem to sound even better live. I loved how they incorporated lonely boy by the black keys into pullin' punches. Seriously, if you haven't been to seen them live yet you are so missing out on some great music.
