    Amazing

by Fluffypuff on 2019-11-03Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

This show blew me away. Everything from the music to the world class caliber performance was amazing. So we'll executed. I saw the Thursday premiere and had to come back Saturday for more. I was not disappointed.

by Kbrodie on 2018-05-14Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Program 3 was unlike any other ballet experience. It was magical and powerful and something I will never forget. There is no way to explain with words how moving this performance was.

Another fine evening I've gotten us into.

by Theodopolis on 2018-05-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Couldn't have had a more enjoyable time. The choreography was top-notch, as always, and the dancing was top-drawer. I could only wish the season was longer. It seems to end so quickly.

    Ballet BC is intriguing

by Ljis on 2018-05-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Loved Bill especially but the choreography is intriguing and each piece had such a story to tell! Well worth seeing. The gender neutral costuming added fascination and the dancing was truly inspiring.

    Program #3

by Artngo on 2018-05-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Elegant performance, beautifully choreographed and accompanied with well chosen music and vocals. Interesting to see what a human body can do.

Beautiful dancing, cool set and costumes

by lksajdfdiue on 2018-02-27Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Worth while going if you are looking for a cultural experience in Vancouver. Some of the choreography was a little strange, but you have to expect that with modern dance. The dancing was great, and the acting (non-verbal) was really quite good too. I enjoyed the costumes.

We have a phenomenal ballet group in BC

by Rooo on 2018-02-25Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Ballet BC is one of the best-kept arts experiences in Vancouver. The company consistently puts forward stunning, contemporary pieces. The dancers are phenomenal and the control and beauty with which they move are incredible. This performance, with its stark minimalism, was nothing less than stunning. If you haven't been to one of BC Ballet's programs, please check them out.

    impressive choreography and emotional performance

by beaverlake on 2018-02-24Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I was amazed by the inventive choreography which was perfect for Prokofiev's romantic music. Their dance reflected the purity, impetuosity, and silliness of youth. The dance of Brandon Alley and Emily Chessa was so emotional and beautiful. The dance of Gibert Small was gracefully vigorous.

Ballet was great, audience is horrible

by IGOYOUGO on 2018-01-02Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Performance itself was wonderful. Audience - has no more common sense left. Chewing, talking, making noises opening crunchy packages, dropping bottles on the floor. Please, include common theater etiquette requirements in ticket confirm e-mails or pre-show messages ( like refrain from using cell phones etc...) thank you

    Very enjoyable

by ItIsMe12345 on 2017-05-17Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

The line between art and the meth fueled tweaking of a madman is thinner than I thought but... it was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed it!

    Blown away once again

by eddieo on 2017-05-14Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

The emotions elicited and sheer visual amazement matched with aural stimulation made for a unique and special evening, which ended on a truly joyous note. The three pieces were each unique, and presented in the perfect order. The Vancouver troupe once again showed off their talent and dedication. The sheer physicality expressed through the program was a sight I will never forget. Absolutely wonderful.

    Program 2 was stunning

by PattiPow on 2017-03-22Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Loved the work that the dancers and choreographers put into this show. I had not been to see the ballet much at all in my life, and suffer from the idea that it's all tutus and boredom. NOT SO. Wow - such skill and beauty, a celebration of the themes of individuality within a collective and the human body. I was pretty much riveted the entire time, even though I was very tired.

    Intriguing

by Evelena on 2017-03-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Even though I am a fan of the classical ballet, I found the performance intriguing. I liked the last part of the ballet the most: Brahms's music, choreography and dancers' performance. Other parts of the ballet attracted my attention by their unorthodox music and interesting choreography.

    music is dreadful

by agyc on 2017-03-21Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

the music might reflex the modern machine- dominating world, but I went to theater to enjoy myself , instead of extending the real torment.
