I had such a great time at the Blondie concert on Saturday night at Casinorama! Everyone kicked it for all their songs, both old and new.
What a great show...voice was amazing, Debra was just beautiful and full of energy....I would love to see her again and again in concert........sound quality at Rama cant be beat!!!!!
The Blondie concert was excellent. An hour and a half of pure enjoyment and good memories. She looks exactly the same when their oldie songs were on the hit list. I would love to see her again live in concert.
Terrific show - Debbie Harry was in fine form and had the crowd in the palm of her hand. Great drumming by Clem Burke and Tommy Kessler on lead guitar was excellent. Nice to hear some new material from them.
Well it's been a good 23 years since I first saw this band live and they are even better now. Prof Clem whaled on the drums like no one I've ever seen - Debbie strutted her stuff and is amazing. The crowd went nuts - there was a broad range of ages in the audience and everyone - and I mean everyone - was rocking out. Truly a spectacular evening filled with old favourites and some of their new stuff, which is killer. I particularly loved D-Day. All in all a fantastic show - the only thing that could improve it would be to have a longer set!
I took my girlfriend to the Rama show...I was a fan from my high school days...Deborah harry really knows how to rock and her band (filled with many original members) is extremely talented. Everyone was on their feet by the end of the performance...Harry still exudes plenty of charm and charisma...the song selection was great:..I loved the beastie boys cover and my girlfriend really liked their version of Celine dion's "my heart will go on!" A very good show and Rama did a great job hosting it!
Blondie was amazing. Voice was great, she looked great and we all wanted more. So she did an encore which was also amazing. For a great evening of great songs old and new I would highly rcommend spending it with Blondie.
The show lacked energy and the sound engineering and hall accoustics were awful. Drums and bass overwhelmed the vocals and guitars. Could barely hear Blondi. Her vocals were overwhelmed and lacked energy. Some interesting, but strange wardrobe choices like the orthotic shoes. Save your money to buy their best tracks and remember Deborah Harry in her prime.
Blondie still can give it - her band is fantastic and she is an inspiration to all women.
A few missing hits would have delivered a longer (and, therefore, better) show, but always leave them wanting more, right? Their back catalogue was well represented, & very well received. "Heart of Glass" even had the back of the house on their feet! Two surprising covers (The Beastie Boys' "Fight For Your Right To Party", & Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On") were fantastic, & fun! They are in fine form! It was great to see & hear Debbie Harry & Gerry Garcia! Catch them if you can!
I went to the concert at Windsor's Casino on the Friday then to the Rama concert the next day and it was great both times. She seemed to be having more fun on stage on Saturdays show and the her performance was even better if thats possible.....even saw her and Chris walking through the hotel lobby an hour before the concert...that made the visit more memorable!!
Absolute waste of money. No tone, couldn't remember lyrics and just sounded baaaaad!
A truly iconic band and fantastic concert just too short! We wanted more. Debbie Harry's voice was great. The rest of the band was phenomenal as well. they played a good mix of new and old. Wish I'd gone last time she was here in 2009! Venue was perfect too as it wasn't very large-much more intimate.
Saw them at Casinorama. Wicked show opened with Union City Blues, Dreaming, Atomic - some great new tracks too D-Day - China Shoes -wish they would come to Toronto to a dance venue - i.e. Guvernment -don't miss em - good times.....
She came out on stage with the same "don't mess with me attitude" that she had in the 80's and continued to rock the place like never before!! My friend and I had been waiting since we were 12 years old to see her, and it was everything and more than we had expected! She still had her signature moves, and the band, with it's new and original members sounded great! The new songs off the new album complimented the classics. A great show all around!!
Great concert, lots of classic Blondie mixed in with some of her newer stuff. Concert never had a down moment and was pure Blondie start to finish. Finished with the classic Heart of Glass. An all age crowd, and everyone enjoyed. Ceasar's Windsor is a great venue for some of the classics.
Great concert. Helpful staff. Amazing show! Blondie was energetic, fun, and her voice was still as great as when I was young.
way better than expected. loved every single song. crowd was good. Blondie really put on a great show.
weak start, but after a couple of songs they came together as a band and sounded good
WAS AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME we were like 2 feet away from her!!!! Amazing vocals
