Come on, babe! Head to CHICAGO! We're hotter than ever.

  • Chicago not so good

by Anonymous on 2014-02-18Hamilton Place Theatre - HamiltonRating: 1 out of 5

We have been to quite a few plays eg The Lion King, Wicked, The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast and this one was no where near the event we thought it would be. Thank god I didn't spend the money to actually see it in Chicago last year. 2 night showing didn't give alot of time for the reviews to come in. Very disappointed.

  • Chicago was great!

by Cathysue on 2014-02-16Hamilton Place Theatre - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Great actors, great singing and dancing by all. Only issue was that in one scene, it seemed the dancers were smoking - for real! We could smell the smoke at our seats - it was surprising a little uncomfortable for a bit but it eventually dissipated.

  • Wow!! Such talent!!

  • Chicago music was amazing

It was really fun to see this show in a home venue. More costume changes would have been nice. My daughter was here from Ottawa and it was wonderful to take her to this as this is one of her favourites.

  • "Baby's in black and I'm feeling blue"...

by allthatwhat on 2014-02-14Hamilton Place Theatre - HamiltonRating: 2 out of 5

This is the first Broadway musical that my wife and I almost slept through. The stage production was anything but professional. The band was featured more than the actors who had very little stage area on which to perform. The music and dance were good; however, everything was black and really quite drab. I'd say for the price we paid we were 'scalped'...

tv actors and pop stars have no business doing broadway musicals.

I very much enjoyed Chicago the Musical. The singing and dancing was incredibly well done. I did feel like there could have been more costume and set changes. Other than that I was impressed.

The show was amazing, loved seeing the orchestra on the stage!! I love seeing shows at the Fisher theatre also - lots of available and free parking and I never have to stress about traffic or traveling issues when seeing a show there.
