Only 3 original members ? Not Chicago , more like a tribute band which is where they got their singer . We left after a half hour .

Chicago concert was good but I only knew 1 song in their first set, a bit too instrumental for me but overall, a nice evening with friends in our new events centre in Moncton, NB

  • Not as good a show as last time I saw them

by Davey21 on 2018-09-18Avenir Centre (formerly known as Moncton Events Centre) - MonctonRating: 4 out of 5

The first hour they played there entire second album ,in its entirety,it’s up for hall of fame! There was only two hits in this grouping. They then took a twenty minute break, then played a lot of their hits.My wife wasn’t enjoying the show so we left before the show ended. At times I found the sound was off,l was on the edge of the up bowl,so this might have been part of that.

Venue was lovely the sitting was great the sound was TERRIBLE, we thought after the first or second song they would get corrected but unfortunately that never happened we had to leave as neither my husband nor I could understand a word they were saying.

  • Amazing!

The song list was not that great. Second half was better and the audience came alive.

  • Don’t waste your money and time!

Buy their greatest hits on itune. They played 2 hits in the first hour and half. That’s when we left.

  • Excellent Band

by rockingsandyg on 2018-09-18Avenir Centre (formerly known as Moncton Events Centre) - MonctonRating: 4 out of 5

The band was excellent and the new singer is actually better than the orginal Peter Cetera. Management really needs to give Neil a guitar so he has something to do when he's not singing, that part is ackward. Performing the Chicago 2 album in the first set was interesting but the average concert goer wants the "hits" and I'm happy to say, the second half of the show was wall to wall hits. My only complaint was the sound system. The speakers in this arena show only serviced the arena floor. Those of us who prefer the "bowl" heard the show as if we were staying "side stage". I moved for the second half and the sound was a lot better. The sound supplier must have been the low bidder. Not good.

  • Chicago was absolutely amazing!

I was impressed of how well organized the event was and how helpful the people were.

The first set was not to my liking. The second set was better but did not meet my original expectations

  • CHICAGO STILL ROCKIN

by Corkmiester on 2018-09-18Avenir Centre (formerly known as Moncton Events Centre) - MonctonRating: 5 out of 5

Great show these guys can still rock with the best of them! Enjoyed the Chicago 2 album portion and the second half just blew by hit after hit. I could stayed for another 2 hours.

  • Chicago still got it after all these years

Chicago gave us a great show. The band's horn section will blow your mind. An awesome show overall.

  • a top five show

by Muzicue on 2018-09-17Bell MTS Place - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The Chicago show was excellent in many ways. Getting great seats at a reasonable price was straight forward. Chicago has their ego in hand and no asking 1,000 for prime seats in presale or majority of seats assigned to fan club membership which asks for significant upfront payment upon tour announcements. Chicago also paid attention to minimizing bot influence upon tkt sales . The performance , the music and attention to detail in sound and lighting over the 2hr show was amazing . The band worked hard to create a bond with crowd and made you feel like the show was being performed at home with a few friends over.

  • A Great Evening!

Chicago is one of my all time favourite bands and they didn't disapoint! It was a night of great memories and fabulous music. The band's energy was amazing and they seemed to be truly enjoying the energy of the crowd.

  • Chicago always delivers!

  • Chicago in Kingston

by Greyfax on 2018-09-14Leon's Centre (formerly Rogers K-Rock Centre) - KingstonRating: 4 out of 5

Variety of songs were great. Band was amazing despite the age of some of the originals. Sound from the venue itself was lacking in punch. It was muffled and lacked any power.

Chicago is as good as the many times before we have seen them, just excellent!!

  • by dpc851 on 2018-09-14Leon's Centre (formerly Rogers K-Rock Centre) - KingstonRating: 4 out of 5

Chicago was amazing. The two founding members Robert Lamm and Lee Loughnane can still rock it.

  • Chicago was Awesome!
