by haneygirl on 2014-03-21Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5Loved seeing Chicago again - I think I have seen them every time they have been to town! They continue to entertain the audience with their awesome music and familiar songs. Such a wonderful trip down memory lane! There were a few songs they didn't have time for, but we really enjoyed the performance!
Best Ever Chicago Concert!!!!
by Gerald5555 on 2014-03-19Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5From the opening note to the final curtain Chicago had the Hard Rock rockin. The band was missing Walt their usual flute player however they did have a fantastic flute and sax player playing with the band. Same great old songs but different singers than the original and they changed up some of the oldies which sounded great
EXCELLENT STAGE PRESENCE- VERY ENTERTAINING!
by URICKENT on 2014-03-19Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5A WELL STAGED SHOW AND THE TALENT WAS STILL THERE AFTER ALL THOSE YEARS. WOULD GLADLY GO TO SEE THEM AGAIN.
Solid performance
by ChrisDad on 2014-03-19Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 4 out of 5We were impressed with the band as it was a high energy performance lasting 2 1/2 hours. Like many I remember Chicago when they first started 40 years ago and was always impressed with their musical talent and vocal abilities. While there are only 3 founding members at the show they have picked up very gifted musicians that create the musical craftsmanship that we remember. They were very true to their original albums, especially numbers taken from the first 2 albums. They started off with the first 2 songs from Side One of their first album. They played Ballad for the Girl from Buchanon as it was arranged on their second album. They played their hits and sometimes as an extended version. The horns were as important to their performance as it was on their early albums. They seemed sincere in wanting to entertain and not just going through the motions for the money. Their two drummers/percussionists put on a solo that would match anything done by other bands and it was done with both humour and bravado. For those that have only recently seen them on TV programs such as the Grammys they were nothing like those performances. They remain one of the better live bands, especially for those who appreciate a variety of instruments and talented musicians behind them.
Full, rich sound!

by beerlover on 2014-03-19Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5Incredible musicianship.Band totally on their game, played for 2hrs and twenty minutes.superlative sound from techs, much better than some bands that I have heard in this auditorium. At one with their audience.
Chicago was Fantastic!
by Lafalot on 2014-03-19Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5They performed for 2.5 hours non-stop. Like they haven't aged in terms of energy, talent, musicality, performing and engagement with the audience. They played so many of their best hit songs. The vocals, horns, guitars were all superior artists. The drummers.....well they were great but then they did their solo and it was UNBELIEVABLE! We are so glad we bought tickets to Chicago!
old guys rock
by grandwarrior on 2014-03-19Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5very classy band, great music, truly one of the great old bands, had a great time, would love to see them again
Their unforgettable sound is as great as ever !!!
by Kaap on 2014-03-19Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5What an amazing band. Even though they only have a few original band members left, you would never know it from the incredible musicianship, singing, and overall talent of everyone. (I especially love James Pankow on trombone - please never leave, Jimmy) They put on a show that lasted about 2 1/2 hours; interspersed with a few solos as well as a drum solo to give the other guys a break (they're not so young anymore), therefore allowing them to play longer. Such a unique sound they have - NO band nowadays would ever have the talent or longevity that Chicago has. I would never miss a performance they had here. WORTH EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR AND MORE!!! GO AND ENJOY !!!
Chicago ROCKS!
by Rickfi on 2014-03-18Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5Incredible talent (each & every one of them). These guys still get it done. Highly recommended. Will look forward to seeing them again.

chicago. Super Energy. Great dynamic show. Sound quality was good. Amazing that the group is still on tour after all these years.......but am I the only one who wonders why the sound needs to be so loud that my ears ring for half an hour after the music stops? .
How can they keep getting better?
by Boomer49 on 2014-03-18Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5Chicago concerts get better every time I attend! I went a couple of years ago and they were terrific and on this visit they outdid themselves. They always seem to be enjoying themselves despite playing songs that they must have played a thousand times. There was a great amount of energy in the room all night long. The crowd stood for the last 4 songs as well as the 3-song encore. I managed to shake Lee Loughnane's hand and Keith Howland's as well as they all stayed on stage after the show.
ABSOLUTLEY FANTASTIC!!
by TSOFan on 2014-03-18Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5What a great show! Was my 8th time seeing Chicago - a couple shows in huge venues - like this way better - 2nd time seeing them there - the guys are so sweet - love how they interact and its such a blast being able to dance right in front of them - with them!!! We were only in our seats for the first couple of songs and on the dance floor the rest of the time. :o)
