Chris Stapleton was a fixture of the Nashville music scene long before becoming a contemporary torchbearer for outlaw country music. The Kentucky native moved to the Music City in 2001 and served as frontman for The SteelDrivers and The Jompson Brothers while writing songs for Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker and more. Stapleton unveiled his debut solo album Traveller in 2015 behind singles like “Nobody to Blame” and his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, “Tennessee Whiskey.” The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 six months after its release and has since been RIAA-certified platinum six times. In 2017, Stapleton released the two-volume effort From a Room, and his fourth full-length Starting Over followed in 2020. Stapleton has won eight Grammys and received two additional nominations in 2023 for his fifth album, Higher. Aside from working alongside country music heavyweights like Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Lee Ann Womack and Morgan Wallen, Stapleton has also shared the mic with pop elites such as Taylor Swift, Adele, Justin Timberlake, P!NK and Ed Sheeran.

The voice is incomparable! Amazing show and amazing band. I would love to go again when they come back
So we had VIP passes and there was supposed to be a gift bag available. We looked around and did not see it any indication of where to pick it up so we scanned in to the venue. We were then told that it was outside the gate and we could not exit and re enter without purchasing a new ticket! WTF! Looking back at the email, the local was in very tiny mouse type. Maybe a booth on the inside near the venue entrance for the lower seats would make some sense!
As most of the concerts this year, I feel like the artists are doing their job but the sound crew are keeping the volume down. It was hard to hear Chris Stapleton sing with the people talking around you. This hasn’t been an issue in years of past, having been attending concerts at this venue for 20 plus years… we should feel the music as much as hear and see it.
Great concert, crowd was kept wanting more. 1st concert I have been to in years. Celebrated my anniversary with my wife and it was fabulous experience. Well done.
Show was great but very cut short due to the weather. We did not see either opening bands.
Played at the Budweiser stadium because there was a thunderstorm and will be rolling through late in the session. The cover bands didn’t play Chris Stapleton played the main event before the storm came. It was a fabulous show.
Love Chris Stapleton totally amazing voice and can hardly wait to see him again. Sadly our night was cut short because of some bad weather moving in Thursday night did not understand why venue staff forced us all out into the storm. No shelter anywhere that could have been handled better. Only blemish on a amazing night
It was a good show cut short by the weather. The sound at the Budweiser Stage wasn’t all that impressive.
Absolute talent. A wonderful musician and humble showman.
Chris was great and true band as well. Too bad TM robocalled us 30mins into the show to let us know that we needed to get to venue earlier because of the storm. Felt bad for the people who missed out on a great and fast performance.
Chris was excellent, I would see him again. However, whoever made the decision to bump up his start time needs to be more considerate of people traveling outside GTA and/or using GO Transit. I understand the circumstances of the weather and starting earlier, but only giving people a last-minute notice is not cool. Jay
Amazing concert. Soulful, joyful and life-affirming show. He is a gem of an artist. A generational talent.
We enjoyed the concert so much but would have been happier if we could have seen Marcus King as well. Mother Nature had a different plan!
Chris came on early for the safety of the concert goers .
My husband and I felt the show was rushed due to the weather (thunderstorm). We were in the 200s so we were fine but I understand those on the lawn needed to stay safe. So we didn’t get to see the opening acts and Chris started early. He sounded good but seeing him was difficult with the viewers in the seats before me standing in front of me for the WHOLE performance. I get standing up for a great song - but the whole concert? Why not buy tickets for the pit? Why did I pay over a thousand dollars for the two seats to not appreciate them since I had to stand to see what I came for? After the concert, getting out was slow. We had to wait for the lawn, the 400s, then 300s and the pit to let out before they let us out. I don’t know who came up with that order? The bathrooms were clean. Line ups as usual. Two drinks were as expensive as our burgers and one fry order - price gouging for drinks is the norm these days. It just would have been nice to have a place to eat the food. The only tables they had were already taken and we arrived 2 hours before the performance started. Everyone who worked there was polite and lovely. From the people at the entry gate to security. All in all it was an average performance. I would never pay that much to see him or anyone again (it was a birthday gift for my hubby). At least we made it to the car before the buckets of rain came down.
Due to incoming weather, Chris Stapleton came on right away and played through until the first lightening. Thank you!
Seeing Chris and band members perform live gives you a new appreciation for their talent as musicians. The crowd always has a great vibe and we love meeting fellow fans. He’s the only band/artist I’ve seen more than once. I also admire how he interacts with his wife, the band, opening acts and fans. He’s just seems like a genuine person.
Chris Stapleton was everything we expected and more. We also big fans of Marcus King who should have been the opening act however Live Nation opted to start late skipping Marcus and go straight to Chris Stapleton at 7:55 pm and end early due to the weather forecast, so we only got to see Marcus perform one song, Arkansas, on stage with Chris. We have been at Budweiser stage during much worse weather and the show went on. Chris was great but overall the night was disappointing.
Chris and his band where outstanding. The greatest show I’ve ever seen and it was cut short due to a storm. Amazing!!!!
