Counting Crows are a Grammy and Academy Award-nominated rock band that have sold over 20 million albums worldwide. Behind popular singles “Mr. Jones” and “Round Here,” Counting Crows’ debut album August and Everything After (1993) sold 7 million copies and peaked at No. 4 on Billboard 200. The sorrowful, roots-driven vocals of singer Adam Duritz transcended the alt-rock charts with 1996’s Recovering the Satellites. Fueled by the success of “A Long December,” Recovering the Satellites reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, cementing the Counting Crows as one of thegreatest adult alternative artists of all time.

The concert was great! The Counting Crows sounded awesome and the venue was perfect for the concert.
LIVE was excellent. You could hear them clearly and you knew which song they were singing. The Counting Crows were a band that I thought I would enjoy live, but now I wish I hadn't had the experience. I'm not sure if the Lead Singer, Adam Duritz, was having a bad day or if his concerts are usually sad. It was hard to figure out which songs he was singing as he changed the tone and speed of many of them. Plus he started telling stories at the beginning of a lot of the songs. Every story was depressing. My friend and I left the concert feeling sad and wondering if he needed counselling. Perhaps LIVE should have been the headlining band. We would have left the venue a lot happier.
Great seats and experience overall, loved how we were treated by staff.
Adam is not always perfect but he was this night. The band is tight and plays strong and Adam's storytelling was great. Front row was awesome and watching the soundcheck and meeting the band before the concert was great. Highly recommend this experience. The Budweiser Stage in Toronto is among my most favourite music venues.
Counting Crows was awesome! Slowed down tempo to a lot of their songs. Wasn't like listening to the album. Rated a 4* Acoustics could have been louder. Opening act, Live was louder than main show.
What are you expecting when you go to a nostalgic 90's concert? You want to hear the hits, and you want to sing along. Live delivered, they were great. They played everything you would want to hear, and they sang it well, with energy, and enthusiasm. They were awesome. The same cannot be said for the Counting Crows. They were downright awful. It's as if they're completely sick and tired of playing music, and just want to stay home. No energy, no enthusiasm, no fun. Their hit songs were impossible to sing along with, or enjoy. On top of it all, the volume of the music for their show was very quiet. It was difficult to hear it from the lawns (not that you'd be missing much). When all was said and done, Live was good, Counting Crows were just terrible, and I will never ever suggest anyone waste their money to see them. Stay at home, and listen to the CD's.
This concert was a mixed bag. Live was awesome and put on a great show. The Counting Crows were lacking energy and used arbitrary story telling as fillers. Lawn seats were well priced, but way oversold.
Great show, and the new LiveNation upgrade feature got us the best seats in the house!!
Live sounded great. Counting crows sang way off key, and missed verses to songs. Not very happy on their performance. Normally don’t complain, but this was not acceptable to listen to at a concert.
Live put on a great show, but Counting Crows were disappointing. Much of the talking between songs couldn’t be heard from the lawn and the sound in general wasn’t great. The band themselves left much to be desired also.
Good way to spend a nice Summer's evening in Toronto.
Very disappointing to listen to a band destroy their own songs. Adam talked his way through half of the songs and put little effort in to actually sing the other half. He butchered "Around Here" by stopping half-way to tell some self-indulgent story. Too bad. They wrote such beautiful songs.
Live was great! Counting Crows wasn’t good, they started with 2 country songs and he talked too much so after 1 hour we left, couldn’t take it anymore.
Live and counting crows were amazing bringing all the hits
Really good show with equally good support from LIVE!
Live was good .....Counting Crows lost me in his rambling
Overall great experience! The soundcheck was great. I only wish it was longer then three songs thus the four stars. The photo shoot by the lake was fantastic. It was even fun watching other people getting their photo done. The pics were uploaded within the hour. The seats couldn’t bave been better. Second row centre. Whoever you fav band is, I highly recommend this experience. The memories are worth it!
I’ve never had a bad show sitting on the lawn at Bud Stage, but the sound quality for Counting Crows was horrible. We could barely hear them when they were talking or singing. Brutal.
Live was good. Counting Crows struggled to get audience engaged.
The worst concert I have ever seen. Adam Duritz is a great songwriter but a terrible performer. It wasn’t your living room Adam, it was a concert. So disappointed.
