Amazing show. We really enjoyed the show. I didn't even know he was touring and when a friend told me, I didn't even think twice. No way I was missing this show and what a high energy and amazing show. Come back soon, I can't wait to see you again, but next time I will be front row to be closer to the energy! I bought these tickets as an early mother's day gift because shes a huge fan and she knows how rare it is that he comes to Canada. I did not know what to expect, only that i grew up listening to my mom blasting most of the songs and i also searched for the albums. He played all the songs I was hoping to play live! My mom really wanted Insatiable to be played and it happened! We both had a blast watching Darren perform, listening to our favorite songs, learning new ones and the choreography was spectacular for all the songs! He truly knows how to interact with his very inclusive audience. There was all kinds of people, from young ones to older generation, mother and daughter like me and my mom, many of the LGBTQ community, even people who traveled across the world for the show. His music has a huge impact on us all.
Darren's performance had everything I could have hoped for: it was moving, powerful, funny, inspiring, evocative, heartbreaking and altogether perfect.
Darren never disappoints! After 16 years since he was last in Toronto, I was thrilled to have him back! He is a soulful and energetic performer. His lyrics and performance touch deep. Amazing, energetic, and interactive experience!
Darren Hayes is an amazing performer and really gave his all throughout the whole 2 hours and 20 minutes of music. I’ve been waiting 22 years for the opportunity to see him in concert and was thrilled. The venue tried to keep the crowds organized, but it was a bit messy because of space constraints. A couple extra people there to direct people would have been helpful.
Beautiful venue! Darren Hayes was absolutely incredible! I wish I had closer seats ..but overall good view of him! It was a dream come true to see him! Loved the dancing! I'd definitely see him again!
Very energetic and engaging performance with incredible musicality from the compact feoup of musicians with Darren. Darren's voice is as distinctive as always, a real time machine to 25 years ago to the Molson Amphitheater.
I’ve been a fan since Savage Garden, and fell in love when he went solo. His voice is flawless and his lyrics are from the soul. I was heartbroken when he retires from music, overjoyed when he returned after 10(ish) years. The venue was…questionable (think “high school gymnasium charm”), but our Darren killed it. His voice remains flawless, he sang every song I expected and hoped for; some fun new versions of a few of them too. Can’t forget the band, background singer and sound crew. Everyone brought it. I hesitate to leave “5 stars” because it undersells the event. IT WAS GLORIOUS.
I was a Savage garden band fan since high school ,25 years after I still can’t believe I have chance to see Darren in person! He is still the same passionate person who I love ! Totally a great memory live concert experience. Although the danforth music hall is bit too small.Hope he will do more concerts in the future with bigger arena size venues
This was an amazing show! I have been a fan of Darren for 25 years! I followed all his music and loved his first venture into solo music. He is inspiring and such a wonderful person, I am so glad he’s back to making music!!! Also, his voice hasn’t changed at all - still amazing!
