About

Daryl Hall is a modern-day renaissance man, an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the star of his very own award-winning web series, Live from Daryl's House, as well as a successful venue owner with "Daryl's House," a restored venue and live music space in Pawling, N.Y.

The Philadelphia soul man is still achieving career milestones more than four decades later, continuing to perform with his band to sold out venues everywhere.

It's been quite a decade for Hall, including the opening of "Daryl's House," a combination world-class restaurant and performance venue, which he kicked off on October 31, 2014.  The popular venue also serves as home base for his multi award-winning Live from Daryl's House.  The show, which began as a "light bulb" moment for Hall when he launched it in 2007 as a free webcast, has set the standard for artist-initiated projects. The groundbreaking series provides a mix of legends and the next generation of superstars.  "Live From Daryl's House" streams on Daryl Hall's YouTube channel.

Previous episodes of Live From Daryl's House have featured a diverse mix of veteran and new performers from rock, soul, country and R&B including rock legends Sammy Hagar, Joe Walsh, Cheap Trick, Tommy Shaw, Kenny Loggins, Todd Rundgren, Nick Lowe, Dave Stewart and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top; soul and R&B artists The O'Jays, Aaron Neville, Aloe Blacc, Kandace Springs, Elle King, Wyclef Jean, Smokey Robinson, Cee Lo Green, Booker T & The MGs, and Sharon Jones; big-league singer/songwriters such as Ben Folds, Rob Thomas, Jason Mraz, Gavin DeGraw, Goo Goo Dolls' John Rzeznik and Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump; country artists such as Shelby Lynne; and has helped break new acts like Fitz & The Tantrums, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Neon Trees, Johnnyswim,  Parachute and Anderson East.  The latest episodes of the show feature Squeeze's Glenn Tilbrook, Blackberry Smoke's Charlie Starr, Andy Grammer, Lisa Loeb, Robert Fripp, and Howard Jones.

Daryl Hall has come a long way, and he's still got plenty of mileage left in a career that's taken him from the streets of Philadelphia to the halls of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.  The best is yet to come. For more information, please go to www.darylhall.com

    Long Wait - Short Disappointment

by Anonymous on 2013-09-21Casino Rama - Rama

Been a long time fan of Hall & Oates and never had the opportunity to see them in the past. So I was really looking forward to the concert. To start, they were late on stage by approx. 20 minutes, which I guess in the world of egotistical entertainers is standard fare. Not being a concert novice, I get the drift of what they try to do, that is as long as the show is worth it. Well, Hall & Oates should know their audience by now, which I presume is coming to hear their many hits over their careers, well not the case. Yes we got about 4 songs in and then the next 4-5 songs were some obscure B side songs that were more or less forgettable. Then abruptly, that was it, apparently the show was over, about an hours worth of less than stellar entertainment. Well than the obligatory encore, song finished off the stage, then another encore. Well the wife & I had had about enough of this ego massage, you knew that they would come out again because the lighting crew kept the light show going and the stage were crew were nowhere to be found. Personally give me a group that comes out gives it all and then rightfully deserves the encore. Huge waste of money and a major disappointment.

Daryl and John both have amazing voices, still! Also, great stage presence. They look like they are having a blast up there! So upbeat and fun!

Hall & Oates - Just Excellent Honest Music

by BeanCounter on 2013-09-21Casino Rama - Rama

While most bands have dancers, flashing lights, backgrounds that do wild things, you never know what to watch, Hall & Oates gave their fans "Just Excellent Honest Music". It was so refreshing to hear and sing along and just watch them and have fun!

    Great concert

by milonguita on 2013-09-21Casino Rama - Rama

We had a great time at the Hall and Oates concert in Rama. We're huge fans and enjoyed their music immensely. The only disappointment was that Hall's voice is not what it used to be and he couldn't hit some high notes, especially towards the end of the concert, so he lowered the notes to carry the tune, which kind of changed some songs a bit. Overall the concert was great, our seats were great and we had a memorable time. They did two encores which was a really nice touch, especially because they played some of their best and most popular songs then. Highly recommended.

Hall and Oates were amazing! They sounded great together as an entire group with their band. Very in sync and melodic. Sax player rocked as did everyone else! So glad they came back for two encores otherwise I would have been disappointed with them not playing two of my fav songs. Even the unfamiliar songs were good! Was a blast from the past!!!

Sound mix wasn't that good, Hall's mike too loud and Oates too low. But still was entertaining...
