To celebrate two decades of 'Give Up' and 'Transatlanticism', The Postal Service & Death Cab for Cutie have joined forces for an unprecedented 20th anniversary co-headline tour. Each night, Benjamin Gibbard, the co-founder of both bands, will pull double duty performing with The Postal Service - comprised of Gibbard, Jimmy Tamborello, and Jenny Lewis - as well as with Death Cab for Cutie (alongside Nick Harmer, Dave Depper, Zac Rae, and Jason McGerr). The extraordinary live run will see both iconic groups performing their seminal 2003 albums in full.

I love Death Cab for Cutie! They're great. And I don't have anything against general admission tickets either. But I'm short and it makes it hard to get a glimpse of the set when you have tall people all around you. It would have been nice had the show been broadcast on the 2 large screens bordering the stage, but they remained black the entire time. Oh well!
Wow.. what a talented group of musicians. This live show was incredible..the venue was perfect and the sound was like in a recording studio..with the exception of the crowd singing along. The back up band Jenn Champion were fantastic too...watch for them!!
This was my 4th time seeing Death Cab live, and each time is amazing as the first. Death Cab put their heart into the show and had the best set list they could have chosen with a mix of new and old tunes.
Such a great concert! The sound was impeccable. The light show was a spectacle of beauty, yet original. A vast variety of material covering their entire career while still playing the majority of their latest release. I just loved this show.
I bought these tickets for my twin boys for their 24th birthday. They went to the concert and came home with the biggest smiles I have ever seen. They said that it was an amazing show and it was everything and more then they expected. Thank you Death Cab for Cutie for making my boys birthday amazing!!!!
Nice to be in a venue where you can get close to the stage. Hope they come back soon!
Not a band you want to see live. Especially at the Edmonton Expo Center. Bad sound. They also didn’t do many of their bigger songs.
Death cab for cutie did not disappoint. They left it all out on the stage. First class treatment at this venue. Clean, well organized and the sound was amazing. Parking was easy.
I took my boyfriend as this is his favourite band! He seemed to love it! I knew zero songs of theirs and was still enjoying their music! Very talented and well rounded band. Very much enjoyed.
Death cans an awesome band but that concert was 100% ruined by a wicked rain storm and flooded grounds.
Another great show by my all-time favourite band Death Cab For Cutie. Jenny Lewis was an amazing opening act. Venue would have been cool if it hadn’t rained for 5+ hours straight, but I realize no on can control the weather. Would have been nice to see a few more options of places to stand to avoid the downpour at Echo Beach. Otherwise, it was a night of wonderful music.
Very good show! Venue was cool and the band were on form.
I knew DCFC would be good live... But I was never expecting them to be THAT good. Unbelievable show!!!!!
Transport every heart in the metropolis to become one.
One of the best live shows I've ever seen! Their set list was set for the fans! They played the most amazing shows! Wish I could do this show every night.
Great, generous show. Even with a cold, Ben Gibbard did 2:30hours non stop of a good mix of old and new songs.
Really terrific, steady building , well paced and exuberant , a totally enjoyable performance... These guys are one of the best Alt/Pop/Rock 'n Roll bands touring today ... We Loved every minute of it! So nice of them to do so many of their big hits - and do them so well!
DCFC always puts on an amazing show, opening acts (Built to Spill and The Head and the Heart were great too). Venue was really great, accommodations close by, easy to get there, acoustics were decent.
This was my second time seeing Death Cab live, and it was spectacular. My first time seeing them was at the Molson Amphitheater and it was an amazing night. But at Massey Hall, the whole evening just felt more intimate. I was up in the balcony, and still had an amazing view. Ben and Chris have the funniest banter, and bringing along the Magik*Magik Orchestra just upped the wow factor for me. I can't wait to see Death Cab again. They sound the exact same live as recorded, if not better. Also after the show, Nick came out and took pictures and signed autographs for us! Ben also came out, but just waved. Even just seeing him was nice. If you have the chance to see Death Cab for Cutie - do it. You won't regret it.
