About

Def Leppard are a hard rock band from Sheffield, England and one of the best-selling music acts of all time. The group has sold over 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 with the current lineup of drummer Rick Allen, guitarists Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen, frontman Joe Elliott and bassist Rick Savage as well as former guitarist Pete Willis and late guitarist Steve Clark. Since forming in 1976, Def Leppard have released 12 studio albums, including their 1980 debut On Through the Night and 1996’s Slang, the first full-length effort featuring the band’s ongoing roster. Def Leppard are one of few bands to notch two diamond-certified albums, for 1983’s Pyromania and 1987’s Hysteria, which both peaked at No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200, respectively. Overall, the band have earned eight Top 10 albums led by 15 Top 40 singles such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Animal” and the 1988 Hot 100 chart-topper “Love Bites.”

Never in my life have ever been so excited to see a band perform, and let me let you I was not at all disappointed! Not only did they play all the songs that many of us fans hold dear to our harts, they performed them with the passion and energy that just blew you away! I would definitely see them again.

by DefKat on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic! I had an awesome time. Starting with the funky guitar collection of Cheap Trick, to the down-to-earth banter of Brett Michaels and kick a$$ songs of Def Leppard, the show kept you moving. My two favourite bands are Def Leppard and Poison so seeing them together was unbelievable. It was awesome!

  • Def Leppard ROCKS!

by kakitis on 2009-07-24Molson Amphitheatre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I went to the show on July 4, 2009 at the Molson Amphitheatre. It was the 2nd time I had seen Def Leppard there and, like the 1st time, they did NOT dissapoint! I love how they use video screens to play themes that go with the song they are singing. They have high energy, even with their age, and they put on a great show! One of the best concerts I've been too!!
