What a great value for family fun. We went as a group of 12 and everyone enjoyed the game and thought it was a wonderful evening and very good value for the money spent. Well done Capitals!
Great game. Great entertainment. They should get crowds like that every game. It is worth the money. Getting to watch the fireworks after was just icing on the cake.
This was the best place to see the Edmonton July 1st fireworks. We sat in the stands and had a front row seat. The game was great. Won in OT with a home run hit. The food was cheap and they really did a lot to keep you entertained through out the night. Two thumbs up!
The Capitals look at lot better than the Cracker Cats. They have also upped their game in terms of fan appreciation. What a great way to spend a nice summer evening, plus it can be done on the cheap too!
This is the first ball game I have gone to at Telus Field in Edmonton. From the moment I entered the building the staff was so helpful helping me find my seat. The venue was great, not a bad seat in the house that I could see. The crowd was up and happy. The staff went out of their way to make my experience great. My husband & I would go back to an event at Telus Field. We are planning on continue getting tickets throughout the ball season to watch the Edmonton Capitals play.
Got a free shirt, had some yummy snacks, ran the bases after the game. Lots of fun, to bad we didn't win. Watching Shrek after the game was great too.

I was quite surprised how many people turned out to watch the Edmontont Capitals vs. Calgary Vipers in Game 2 of the playoffs..Not only were the tickets affordable, so was the food and beverages..A great entertaining, affordable with the family..
It was a beautiful night at Telus Field and the crowd turnout was great. Unfortunately the game was a bit of a stinker. The Capitals pitchers looked nervous and had trouble commanding the strike zone allowing the Viper hitters to sit on pitches that were right over the heart of the plate. There were some fantastic defensive plays, 2 put-outs at the plate, but eventually the BBs led to some defensive let downs as the fielders had to battle a constant barrage of baserunners.
Wish that the fans would be more supportive and make some noise to cheer the team on. Everyone thrives from some positive support. Also wish that our pitching was as good as Calgary's closer.
It is well worth the trip to telus field to see the capitals play. Parking & food are both cheap compared to football and hockey games, not to mention the price of the tickets! It is a great way to spend a summer day with the family!
A Capitals game is a great event for all ages. The baseball is good quality, and prices are reasonable (tickets and food, drinks, etc.). There's a nice atmosphere, with quick bits of entertainment thrown in between innings. It gives you a nice sense of the Edmonton community. The park also offers a nice view of the river valley.
Brought the whole family and had a great time. All seats are good. Good time fillers between innings. Beer and a hot dog for only 6 bucks! Great fireworks after and a movie on the field. Will definitely be back soon!

We had a great time. This was the FIRST game that my son and I ever attended and what a blast we had. The weather was beautiful, parking was easy to find and reasonable. The food was tasty and reasonably priced as well. My son enjoyed the interactive moments, he loved the scoreboard as it helped him keep up to date on what was going on. We are going to go to another!!1
We have lived in Edmonton 6+ years. I purchased 6 tickets a week ago and took in our 1st ball game today! I felt like Ferris in the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off " as I took unknown time away from work to take family and several of their friends to the game. The temperature was 30+, There was a good active crowd having fun throughout. Caps played a great game, no bad inning and win again against the Vipers Overall we had a great afternoon, so much that I purchased tickets to the final 2 games this weekend and the 1st playoff game. "Go Caps Go"!
Money well spent, worth every penny. Our family is now Capitals fans. We will be attending as many games as possibe before the end of the season. You can count on us going way more often next year.
My family and I went to our first Capitals game this weekend and had a great time. Even our 15 and 17 yr old daughters loved it!. After the game my 11 yr old son went to the autograph section and got his hat signed by the whole team. He was thrilled!! Every one of the players interacted with him and showed enthusiasim. Instead of having to sign autographs they all looked like they wanted to be there, it was a really great experience. The weather was awsome, the ball park was beautiful inside and out. We will definietly go other games and will also look for other events being held at Telus Field.
I think the marketing directors are doing a fabulous job of promoting this team to the fans. The between inning activities are very appropriate for families and entertaining, and there is not a bad seat in Telus Field! What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon? For around 50 to 60 dollars for a family of 4, you can get a seat in row 1 in the grandstand behind home plate, watch a first class game, and even have drinks and snacks. Our family will be back again and again! Thanks for not over-pricing at the concession!!!
