    Great Atmosphere

by AH on 2022-07-10Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Even though the Elks lost it was a great game and the atmosphere is always awesome at the stadium. It is a shame more people do not go out and support the football community, But we always love our time.

For a home opener, this was stone cold boring. Atmosphere was dry and staff was rude

Best half time show in 60 years of going to games!

by Snake on 2022-06-06Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Shitty on field product and performance! Hope it improves and does not image 2021. Attendance and interest will quickly wane but, I'm a die hard "Elks" fan who wants to see the game thrive and succeed for the sake of Edmonton and the CFL. "Go Elks Go"!

    Memories

by Charlie Clayton on 2021-11-09Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

I got to bring my daughter Khia to the game for her birthday. it was a surprise birthday present that she didnt even know that she was in edmonton. when she got out of the car she seen me in my elks jersey. i handed her new one (birthday present), then we rode the lrt right to the station from southgate mall. when we entered we actually had to leave all our extra clothes and blankets at the front door as they would not let us bring in a bag, so later in the evening it did get very cold for us. we sat down section j row 3. it was a little to close, because the players were in our way. cheerleaders were right in front of us. but overall she had an absolutely amazing time. we will for sure be going back, but make sure that we are able to stay warm. this made my daughter top birthday present from anyone ever. her words not mine

    Elk game

by Bangla on 2021-11-09Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Long lines to get in because of Covid rules. The elk suck. The announcer tries to rev up the crowd everytime the defence comes on. Which is dumb, when offence is their biggest issue. The elk can’t tackle. It was a boring game. Thank god it was a roughrider game or there would have been 63 people in the crowd.

    Lacking

by Roughriderfan on 2021-11-08Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

I felt like the fan base wasn’t there, people weren’t excited, probably because the team isn’t doing well. I have only been to games at mosaic stadium in Regina and it’s incomparable. Mosaic has amazing energy, full seats, and loyal fans. I enjoyed the game, the dinosaurs on trikes, but more fan interaction would’ve been fun.. kiss cam, get some fans on the field throwing footballs in competitions etc..

by KJ on 2021-11-08Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Very nice and comfortable stadium. Due to how they organized the covid checks it was a very long line compared to other events I’ve been to which was the downside.

    Riders Won!!

by Mayor of Riderville on 2021-11-08Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Went to my first football game since the pandemic and everything was still as last time I was at Commonwealth Stadium. With not an overly large crowd access to the stadium and amenities inside was easy. Best of all, even though it came down to a short kick at the end of the game, the Riders!prevailed

PoorNew name Elks. Poor year. Sadly not same team.

by Cliff on 2021-11-08Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Used to be a season tickets holder for many years. Sad experience. Not the same with new team name. Could have been a better name change. Cheerleaders were the best part of the game, they are very professional. Team needs a lot of work and changes to be a competitor. Sad to see the stands empty, not the same atmosphere. May not attend again until. Better to watch them lose on TV and can change the channel. What on earth are they doing?

    Thankful for CFL

by Cheminot on 2021-11-01Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Seats on the 55 yard line. I’m so thankful that edmonton has several professional and university sports teams. Tiger Cats turned up to play football. Offence, defence and special teams. Edmonton Elks embarrassed themselves. Very poor effort. One of the smallest crowds in the 56,000 seat Commonwealth Stadium. Less than 5000 in attendance and many like us left after 3rd quarter. We’ll be back to see CFL football but this team shows no enthusiasm.

The terrible awful no good experience

by Billy on 2021-10-19Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Horrendously overpriced, 'all sales final', restrictive seat selection programming, no ability to even donate tickets via the app. Once purchased you are absolutely bound so moral of the story.... Don't purchase.

Great game even though they lost!

by Karla on 2021-09-16Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

My first Elks game. Had a great time. Loved all the fireworks. Only negative is the clear bag rule. It was not indicated on the tickets I purchased, or at least not clearly. Also having to wear a mask..

    Elks game versus Stampeders

by R3 on 2021-09-15Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

The tickets were great, the Elks not so good. Too many penalties - looked like pre-season mistakes. The half time entertainment was a bit lame. For a professional football game, the half time entertainment should be better.

    Not as I remembered

by Bryce on 2021-09-14Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Basically before the pandemic the team played way better, they also had the name that i grew up knowing. Now since they changed their name watching them play has that looming thought of how a corporation came in and completely destroyed a team and expect the fans to be ok with it. Belairdirect killed the Edmonton Eskimos. This Edmonton elks brand they want us to watch, leaves a sour taste.
