Edmonton Stingers History
The Edmonton Stingers are two-time champions of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). The Stingers competed in the CEBL’s inaugural 2019 season, finishing in second place before falling in the postseason semifinals. However, redemption was close behind as the Stingers secured their first CEBL Championship in 2020, then repeated the feat in 2021, becoming the league’s first back-to-back title winners. Both runs followed dominant regular season performances, in which the Stingers topped the league and set the CEBL’s all-time highest regular season winning percentage (.929) with a 13-1 record in 2021. The Edmonton Stingers organization has accrued multiple accolades, including 10 All-CEBL selections, three MVPs and two Coach of the Year Awards.

Such a fun and afordable date! We will be back! We paid $20 for each ticket and had a great view of the court.
Great family fun! Affordable seats. Easy to access. Exciting sports action. We love going these games! This is a gem for our city!
Thinking about attending a game but concern’s about the loud music continuously and the parking after reading reviews.
The stingers game was well worth the price of admission. Great product on the court lots of great plays. I brought 2 dads and 3 kids with me all of them enjoyed the game. Plus after the game we got free admission to kdays. Incredible deal!
Really great game and entertaining. We hope to getbto a final if available.
Took the family for my sons 6th birthday. He was absolutely in love with the experience and the rest of us truly enjoyed ourselves. Hoping to go more next year. The afternoon games are ideal for our kids ages.
Very good basketball and a really fun atmosphere. It was my son's first experience attending a pro game and he enjoyed everything about it (except maybe the final score :p)
We hadn't heard about the team untill cousins from Saskatoon came to town to watch their team (they were really here to pick-up a family aireloom van) anyway we met them at the game and we're really impressed. It'll certainly make for another family outing again.
Basketball was good, but the music played throughout the entire game which was different. CEBL has adopted a new rule for end of game which was weird and anticlimactic. The space in the expo Center was a little dim and grungy. Fun for $30 but not great.
It was our first time to an Edmonton Stingers game. Overall we enjoyed the game. What we definitely did not care for was the music playing during game play. It really detracted from the game
Exciting time lots of energy. Liked the interaction with fans however the music is too noisy for my husband & I. It rarely stops makes & makes it hard to talk to friends. Dance group were good.
For my first time at a Stingers game, I thought the in-game experience was fantastic. The quality of the on-court talent is good, the seats were great, and the entertainment during the downtimes of the actual game were great too. Overall a great evening. That said, the parking experience was horrible. This needs to be fixed in a hurry. The way it is currently set up does not work for an event with a "mass" exit. It is likely fine for most other events that take place at Expo where people come and go at more random times. There is only two exit gates available and you have to insert your "paid" ticket in order for the gate arm to go up. This is lunacy. When we use to park there for Oiler games you would pay on the way in (which was a slow process also) but at least when the game was over there were three "free flow" exits at that end and the exit at the north end would get opened as well. You never want the last thing you remember about an evening to be negative and this was a biggy. Not sure if I would attend again unless I could get someone to drop me off and then pick me up after.
Great basketball! Great family fun. Even autographs and pictures with the players after the game. We'll be looking for season tickets next year. Every seat is a good seat!
We took our son as a last minute night out and we are hooked! Fun, entertaining, relatively cheap night out. Bonus that we got autographs after the game! You’ll be seeing us again.
Great family entertainment for the money great tickets prices
We had so much fun and enjoyed the game a lot! Can’t wait to go back on the 22th!
Great value on tickets prices are not to expensive
Affordable, accessible family entertainment. Every seat is a good seat. Great caliber basketball! The players are awesome and fans are encouraged to come onto the court after the game for autographs and pictures. I think next year we'll get seas
This was a great time. My son and i overly enjoyed it. It was fast paced and entertaining to watch!
Not their best played game but still a good game to watch. The game is good value for family and presents a good entertainment package. The continuous blasting music is a bit much though
