Eric Burdon & the Animals Tickets

The show was billed as Eric Burdon and the Animals, but it should have been called Eric Burdon and the Hipsters. The back-up band did not have any of the original Animals but they still played great. It was nice to see brass on stage and hear the iconic organ. Eric can still belt out his classics. House of the Rising Sun had more stanzas and lyrics than the recorded versions. They even had a tribute to David Bowie. Favourite moment - getting to my seat and seeing brass instruments on stage. Could this mean that they would play Monterey - yes!!! And they kicked off the show with Spill the Wine. Unfortunately as with most Rama shows, the concert length was short.

Terrible concert. Worst one I have seen this year. If it wasn't for the Animals, holding it all together it would have been a total flop.

I wasn't too pleased with his performance, Songs I wanted to hear in their intirety eg Sky Pilot was mixed with a David Bowie tune. It seem he forgot some of the words in his classic hit "House of the Rising Sun!! In general there were pitch problems!!!! A request was made for "San Francisco Nights" It was not played! My opinion is that he should ride out into the sunset and retire!!

Wasn't sure what to expect after all the years gone by but Eric hit it bang on!! The band was awesome. They played past hits and I loved his tributes. Pleasantly surprised and had a great time

An amazing performance by Edgar Winter and Eric Burdon. Two rock'n roll legends performing brilliantly with each set. It was a wonderful evening of top notch sound and performances. A must see at all costs.

Knew a lot of the tunes, but great delivery. What an amazing group of musicians. Eric still has it after all these years and very genuinely talented. Very fun evening. Highlight still was House of the Rising Sun but lots of funk.

His choice of dress code was not good. His black long john's under a protruding belly, was not visually received. Noticeably struggled with his notes from time to time. Some of his song introductions were not appropriate..Even though his back up band were not born when these songs were introduced, they were exceptionally good. He would have been lost without them. Not the greatest concert I have experienced.

FANTASTIC SHOW!!!!!!! Eric was terrific and the band was superb. The show was fast moving and entertaining. Eric performed lots of his hits and more.

The Road Warrior "Eric Burdon" is still rocking at 75 years old. New band, new songs and new versions of old songs, Mr. Burdon owns the stage. He's a happy Animal now and very comfortable with his status as a Rock Icon and survivor. His unique and soulful voice is strong and aged like a fine wine. Do yourself a favour and see Eric Burdon live.

Seeing Eric at the ripe old age of 75 was a wonderful experience! His energy is amazing...I can only hope that I would be so fortunate. Having grown up in the same generation, his tunes brought back fond memories. The greybeards all around us appeared to be enjoying the show, as well.

Just great, brought back a lot of memories....Two encores...Eric still has his voice...amazing performance!

Finally the long awaited Eric Burdon and the Animals at Hard Rock, Coquitlam BC April 18,2015. I purchased tickets as soon as they were avail as he was a big part of my music love for many years. The concert was fantastic. I so thank him for being the humble person that he is and still putting it out there for us loyal fans in a somewhat small venue. We love it as it is more interactive, there is not a bad seat in the house. We go to concerts to see and hear the artist and that was exactly what this concert gave. Thank you so much Eric for coming to our fair city. You brought me to tears, in a good way!

They came out and played. What a band-What a voice!

The entire show was great from beginning to end. The band was tight. Eric Burdon can still sing very well. I would go again!

good show but not as good as previous times I've seen him,I would have liked him to do the complete songs instead of putting them together

Eric Burdon is in as good or better voice that he was in his younger days. The musicians were absolutely outstanding and it was evident by the number of people gathered in front of the stage rocking up a storm and the audience response that this group is still on top! We thoroughly enjoyed the concert and highly recommend it to people of all ages who enjoy and appreciate great talent.
