An old family story which is still relevant in modern times.
The Fiddler on the Roof Touring group gave an excellent performance. It would have been very enjoyable if the acoustics at the Queen E. Theater had been better and the seats would have been a little more accommodating. We sat squeezed in at a full house with a mostly obstructed view in the orchestra section. It was a relief when it was over.
The production was amazing!!!! But hard to enjoy fully due to so many prople up and down and walking in front of you during the show. Mention to the audience to ge curtious and not get up during the show!
The story and the musical score is moving and continues to be relevant. I’m glad I attended the show. However, the whole production seemed B class. The staging looked low cost, made for easier transport. Usually great lighting techniques enhance the set design, but not in this production. The cast of course is a talented group but in this turn the performance seemed rote, maybe they were exhausted.
Loved every part of this travelling show. The singing, the dancing, the story, the solidarity with Ukraine. This group deserves all the stars
This was an amazing show. A lot of effort to bring this to the next level with all of the cast, the sets and costumes and the dancing! It was a wonderful experience overall, but there was one disappointing moment in the Fruma-Sarah dream scene. The characters were costumed in an outrageous way and part of that was unrealistically large breasts that hung down to her waste. I felt that this was insulting to women, making fun of our bodies like this, almost misogynistic. I thought we were past it being ok to caricaturize women's bodies on stage like this for humour.
The show was fantastic!! Loved it thoroughly. The stress of finding parking, waiting in line to get a ticket from the machine, waiting in line for the bathroom were very negative experiences. During the intermission, again waiting in a very long line at the bathroom. Sadly, I never had time to enjoy a drink or snack even. I arrived at the theatre at 1:30- how was the parking lot full already?! The parking lot beside the theatre was also full because many parking spots were taken up by the production trucks etc. 2 blocks down the street, we managed to find a parking spot only to find at least 12 people ahead of us trying to get a ticket from the machine. Having a parking attendant is so much better and more efficient and obviously less stressful for all. Others must have had similar issues as many people were still being escorted to their seats 4 songs in. Going out to see a show shouldn’t be so stressful. Will think hard before heading downtown again to see another show.
What a fantastic performance. The actors were wonderful! The actor who played Tevye was incredible. His singing was great as well as his performance. The actor playing Motel was so good. There were so many great moments. A wonderful night out.
We thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The music, singing & acting were wonderful and well worth the price of admission. Stage settings were well done & added to the enjoyment.
Best performance ever Very well presented Characters are well versed and perfect voices
We thought this production was absolutely wonderful. We saw Fiddler On The Roof with Zero Mostel 53 years ago in New York and this show was equally amazing.
The performance was top notch. This has been one of my favourite shows for years. One I come back to whenever I can
The music, singing, acting, set design were all spectacular. Our family of 7 loved every minute of the show.
Loved it so much, I wish I can go and watch it again. Such a beautiful story and performance. Shout out for all the casts, especially Jonathan Hashmonay as Tevye. Outstanding performance worthy of award!
It is a bit long but a wonderful show! I was exhausted by end of the evening. Perhaps, we could start an hour earlier?
Phenomenal cast, production, performance. All songs sung beyond perfection. Congratulations!!
This was a wonderful experience. From the actors/singers/dancers, to the set, to the "vibe", I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. I laughed, I cried, I enjoyed!
Every time I see Fiddler I am reminded what a beautiful story it is. The cast had incredible voices and gave the characters such life!
My wife and I came in to watch and were very impressed. It was so engaging that it ended too early. So much fun. The performers were great and the gentleman who played the father was outstanding.
