I thought it was a great concert....hope I can still rock out like them when I'm their ages.
Lindsay Buckingham was faulous. Strong voice, rocked the crowd. Stevie Nicks not so much. She stomped around in those big shoes, and moved very slowly for the most part. Her eyes were half open all night and her signing was O.K.
Stevie Nicks supposedly wasn't feeling well and it showed, no Christine McVie, so it was all up to Lindsay Buckingham and he delivered. This guy can sing but his guitar playing is the best in the business. He put a 150% into the concert. As usual, Fleetwood and McVie provided ample back up. It wasn't the Fleetwood Mac of yesteryear but it was an enjoyable and nostalgic evening.
Fleetwood Mac was good. I would have loved to see them in there prime but it was still lots of fun! They had good energy and it was a good crowd. Its a good show for any fleetwood fan. Stevie was amazing
amazing..particularlily Lindsay...he stole the show and played the whole damn concert I think....Excellent
They all gave a 110% !!! Lindsay was great, Stevie Nicks' was absolutely fabulous!! It was the one concert that I had always wanted to see, and I did!!! Awesome!!! What else do you want a guy to say?
This was the first concert my son and I have gone to together. It was memorable just for that! Watching him love the guitar playing of Lindsay Buckingham (as at 14 he is a guitarist) and me pretending I was Stevie Nicks (as I love to sing), was a joy.
Really enjoyed Fleetwood Mac. Missed Christine McVie's beautiful voice. But Stevie still sounded awesome. Probably wouldn't have known that just days before she was too sick to sing, except for reading it in the paper. Lindsey Buckingham is excellent on the guitar. They all were very entertaining.
The concert was fantastic. I bought it for my wife as a night out and it couldn't have been better. The band has not missed a beat, sure they look a little aged in looks on the large screens, but they still sound plenty youthful when singing. You could close your eyes and feel like you were in the 70's all over again....it helped with all the hippies in attendance also..something I wasn't part of because of my age. I will buy tickets again when they come around again, hopefully it won't be another five years which was the last time they graced my city. The ticket prices I thought originally were a little high, but afterwards I felt I got my money's worth.
the show was awesome band members were receptive to the audience and truly seem to enjoy playing again live would not hesitate to see them again
They say you can never "...go back ..." but FLEETWOOD MAC'S UNLEASHED concert evokes the most powerful memories, bitter and sweet, joyous and sad, of the 70's , those incredible years for those of us fortunate enough to have lived , studied, worked, and loved in that time. Their music epitomized the time then. Now, back again, somewhat older, singing not quite the same -doesn't really matter. Critics will no doubt quibble about details, but the fact remains that the emotions and feelings their singing and playing evoke in all of us of that time are as real and moving now, as then. The picture of the entire audience on their feet swaying in time to the last few songs, with smiles of wonder and joy on every face says it all.
From the opening song they took us on a 2 1/2 hour nostalgia ride. The vocals were a bit weak at times (at 50+ yrs mine are too!). They may not have Christine McVie but the rest of them were amazing. I am so happy we went and would go again tomorrow if I could but at least we got to see them, unlike the poor folks in Edmonton & Calgary. Buckingham sounds as good as ever, like a whirling durvish on his many guitars!
I felt that Fleetwood Mac should have been playing at a Casino instead of an larger venue. They sounded alright but lacked the stage show that goes with a larger venue.
The Fleetwood Mac concert was better than the 70's. All band members had so much energy and charisma! Bravo!
The show was awesome! They played lot's of great songs.
This was an awesome showcase of Fleetwood Mac's talent, not only as a band, but of each individual band member. From the show stealing guitar prowess of Lindsay Buckingham to the almost cartoonish facial expressions of Mick Fleetwood. From Stevie Nicks strong vocals to Tom Mcvie's steadying bass. This was a great show. I did miss Christy Mcvie a whole bunch though!! Not, because she took away from the band's profoudness- but, what I know she could of added!! Great show old timers!!!!!
complete waste of money Stevie Nicks is still great- but the rest should hang up their guitars and head for the eretirement home
FANTASTIC CONCERT, GREAT SOUND, VERY ENTERTAINING. STEVIE NICKS STILL HAS THAT UNMISTAKABLE VOICE.
When I heard Fleetwood Mac was touring once again I immediately assumed the worst. Having sub-par experiences at classic rock concerts like the Who and Bob Dylan, I assumed that FM, like all the others, would put on a less than stellar show. That idea, mixed with the astronomically high pricing (aimed for the middle aged market) , almost stopped me from buying tickets. I am glad I didn't. Fleetwood Mac is about the music first and foremost and it rang true. They delivered with stunning clarity and accuracy that I was not expecting. Definitely one of my favorite concerts ever.
It was a great concert. Really good to see bands sustain popularity to that extent over time and still put on a great show. Really got the crowd going and fantastic talented artists. Would go again if I had the opportunity in a second.
