About

Flogging Molly are the Celtic-punk pioneers known for frolicking barroom anthems like “Drunken Lullabies” and “Devil’s Dance Floor.” Though singer Dave King is Irish, the band made their name in the ’90s as the bar band at Molly Malone's (an Irish pub based in Los Angeles). Their breakthrough arrived in 2002 with the album Drunken Lullabies, when the title track “Drunken Lullabies” was featured in the popular video game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. Flogging Molly exported their raucous live show to the Vans Warped Tour between 2000 and 2009, where they became fan favorites. Touring worldwide, Flogging Molly would cement their reputation as one of the rowdiest and most passionate live bands in the world. Popular albums like Swagger (2000) and Float (2008), often defying categorization, have propelled them to sell over a million albums worldwide.

    FLOGGING MOLLY WHAT!!

by zackm on 2009-10-29MacEwan Hall - Calgary

my god people if you have a chance to see flogging molly do not pass it up. they are so intense. the stage show is good, and the music is even better. trust me when i say you will have a good time at one of thier shows, fan or not. you will be after you go. other than that i dont know what to say other than, i see ALOT of live music and until this time not a single band has toppled my fav live performance until now. and well the UK band THE ADICTS are 100% on game with thier live act but FLOGGING MOLLY BLEW me away. peace, and ENJOY THEM WHILE YOU CAN.

    Flogging Molly, so sick!

by Pulse on 2009-10-28MacEwan Hall - Calgary

Such an amazing show, from bursting out on stage and playing all my favorite songs, to playing their most amazing acoustic songs in between for a break from the joyful dancing of the crowed to the most moving of irish inspired tunes. From the witty remarks of Dave King the bands front man, to watching the entire band play so well together with such an amazing stage presence, to just watching the madness of the accordion playing skills of Matthew Hensley or the guitar work of Dennis Casey just to name of few. Really enjoyed the show = best of my life forsure to date.

    fun for everyone

    by thatgirl403 on 2009-10-28MacEwan Hall - Calgary

this was my second time attending a flogging molly concert. at first i was a little taken back by the entencity of the crowd and stayed to the back of the hall where the audience was more relaxed. this year i joined in at the front of the hall with all the "moshers". both front and back viewers were die hard fans but were able to enjoy the show there own ways.

Flogging Molly is the most fun show!

by Korz on 2009-10-28MacEwan Hall - Calgary

The first opening band was ok; not really my style of music but they provided entertainment. Inward Eye was really good! Good music and a good live show! And of course Flogging Molly was amazing as per usual. They played a few songs I have never seen them perform, as well as added an acoustic bit to the show.

    Pretty Good

    by kasper88 on 2009-10-28MacEwan Hall - Calgary

The flogging molly portion of the show was unforgettable, but the huge wait till they came on stage was terrible. We were there for 6.5 hours in the end and I did not anticipate that going. I just wish the main act wouldnt have been such a long wait.

    Amazing as always

by Fallen on 2009-10-28MacEwan Hall - Calgary

What can I say about Flogging Molly that hasn't already been said. They have been around forever and kick ass as they always have. The interaction with the crowd will keep you smiling/laughing between songs. I'll go see them everytime they come no question.

We had soo much fun at this concert. The band has amazing energy and stamina. Basically they kicked the pants off this show for 2 hours, and came back for an encore. Simply fantastic.

    Best time ever!

by SuperPants on 2009-10-27Sound Academy - Toronto

Wow, where to begin! The band was excellent; they played all my faves, plus a few I hadn't heard yet, and they really know how to play to a crowd! The energy onstage really fuelled everyone. Even the other fans there were awesome. It's my firm belief that great music brings great people together, and it's hard to get any better than Flogging Molly!

    Absolutely wonderful

by SRX12 on 2009-10-27Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

The opening acts were kinda mediocre, but Flogging Molly came out and just stole the entire show. Just a great mix of Celtic Pride and a Punk atmosphere made for an absolutely amazing show.

    Flogging Molly is life changing

by ZacharyF on 2009-10-27The Odeon Events Centre - Saskatoon

Flogging Molly is one of the greatest bands to see live. you will arrive at the show with a mind set that it will be amazing and you will leave no where close to disappointed by far the best live show Ive seen in years. My favorite moment was when they first began singing "whats left of the flag" one of my favorite songs of all time. you never realize how amazing it'll be to hear it live.

Flogging Molly put on an EPIC show!

by Ghdef on 2009-10-27Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

EPIC! Is the only word to describe how amazing of a show Flogging Molly put on. I go to many show big name and small. This was in all honesty the best concert going experiance I have had in years. One of the strongest live bands performing today. Even the tamest concert goer's were commanded to there feet. 10/10 does not even come close to describe how much I enjoyed this show. I hope they come back our way soon.

    Flogging Molly rocked EEC

by Sock on 2009-10-27Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

I've wanted to see Flogging Molly live for a long time and after the long wait I was not left disappointed. Moving lyrics, catchy melodies, and hard hitting rock all twisted in with that little touch or Irish folk.

    Flogging Molly delivered!!!

by slarson8 on 2009-10-27Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

Overall,an amazing show! Flogging molly and their two opening bands were great! The only beef I have is the segregated area for minors. It had a horrible view of the stage. Other than that, EPIC.
