Gomez is a favourite and their show on Wednesday was a welcome live taste of their repertoire. It has been years since I have seen them live and The Commodore is the best place to see them, or any band, for an intimate experience with the music.

Truly spectacular evening...even the warm up band got the house rocking. Gomez always gives their fans a memorable experience. I absolutely love those guys...bring it on!

Got to be show bought a shirt and walked into one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. As usual Gomez did not disappoint. They rocked it from start to finish with an amazing setlist and great energy. Thanks Gomez for the unforgettable experience.

    For sincere fans only

by AgingFan on 2012-07-25Virgin Mobile Mod Club - Toronto

Gomez are good musicians and terrific song writers, but the show was too heavy on the shoe-gazing, indy rock vibe for us. If you're a fan of the band, it probably hits the right chords for you, but if you're not a committed fan, familiar with most of their music, it might miss the mark. Those who love Gomez will probably love the show; those who are looking for a nice evening, but don't know the catalog well might not be as entertained. We left early.

    Gomez Rocks!

by Salic on 2012-07-25Virgin Mobile Mod Club - Toronto

Gomez Rocks! WOW! far exceeded my wildest expectations, great venue for this type of band, intimate yet big enough to get everyone in sink with the performance. Drawing on the full body of the bands song list, the audience was not let down with the powerful full on energy with all the favourites and sing along too.

    Gomez at the Market!

by Quelly on 2009-07-29Showbox at the Market - Seattle

With an acoustic set played across town, about an hour before the show... Things were warmed up. A great mix of tunes, and a great venue.

    Best ever!

by Hinchy on 2009-07-20The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

Wow - what a concert. I think Gomez are one of the most under-rated bands and one of the best live bands ever. I have never seen a bad concert from Gomez, but this was the best I've seen them. Ben Ottewell had to sing most of the set becasue Tom Gray had lost his voice, which must have been upsetting for the band but for me it was a blessing in disguise. I love Ben's voice and think it is the most natural, powerful distinctive voices in the music business. As usual, Gomez rock a lot more live than on record and this set was amazing. 2 hours of Gomez bliss. Thanks!

    Gomez never disappoints!

by bossdj on 2009-07-19The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

This was my 3rd Gomez show, all at the same venue. Crazy packed, they took the stage while Fill My Cup was playing on the speakers. It was an acoustic version sung by some girl. They said their hellos and started off the show with Shot Shot. Great energy, great set, great band!
