First off I saw this amazing group in Toronto October 14th one day after my birthday, was the best birthday gift EVER! Unforgettable concert the energy from the band & crowd was magical I would recommended seeing these guys live if you can well worth it. Only down part was when it finally finished you want to see more but its lasting memories..

A night I will never forget, so many different artists preformed all with such incredible talent, I wish I could live & tour with these guys cause it looks like they have so much fun up there.

Damon Albarn was great! Little Dragon was amazing! Videos on huge screen were awesome! String section was a nice touch! As always at rock concerts, the sound is very loud -so I had to wear earplugs (during songs I did not like))

  • gorillaz triple bonus

by teampanda on 2010-10-16Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

impressed in three ways to actually see all the players involved in the production of there music. a great animation back drop added depth to show. disappointed they did not have more close ups of band members. showed up late and had to only endure 10 minutes of NERD. nerd was brutal. forgetable performance and forgetable sound.

New stuff, old stuff. Upbeat stuff, mellow stuff. Very well-rounded set list, mixing in a good balance of all the various sides of the Gorillaz. Lots of energy, and SO many people on stage.

  • Gorillaz - Madison Square Gardens

by Skymum on 2010-10-12Madison Square Garden - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Being from Halifax I was intimidated by how large I thought Madison Square Gardens was going to be but it was surprisingly intimate which was great for this show. And what a show it was a cornucopia of performers, video, and musicians. At one point I think I counted 27 people on stage. The true star of the show was of course the video but it melded with the show so spectacularly that it was never a distraction. The only off bit of the show was actually Lou Reed coming to the - it took time to get his amps and such set up and then there was feedback. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
