About

Heart formed in Seattle, Washington in 1973 and have rocked on through the years under the sibling core of Ann and Nancy Wilson. The group has released 16 studio albums, hitting the Top 10 seven times and topping the Billboard 200 with 1985’s Heart. The band have sold nearly 35 million albums worldwide. Early rock staples such as “Crazy on You,” "Barracuda” and “Magic Man” gave way to greater mainstream success in the ’80s with the group’s first Hot 100 chart-toppers, "These Dreams" in 1986 and "Alone” in 1987. Despite developing their own solo careers after their first hiatus in 1995, the Wilson sisters have reunited as Heart several times. In 2013, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band have received four career Grammy nominations and received The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.

  • Amazing! Salute to them both

by Linda on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Just perseverance from the 80’s to 2025 go through ups and downs and dodge life’s punches and show up together on stage and still sound great made for an awe inspiring night! Was a honour to see them, won’t forget it!

  • Heart and Cheap Trick concert

Cheap Trick was great!! But heart was awesome, especially listening to Ann Wilson sing. She has a voice that still sounds amazing. Would like to see them again. 😍🙂😎

  • Awesome concert!!

by Tam on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Really enjoyed concert but was a little disappointed that Heart never sang “all I want to do is make love to you” and “ These Dreams”. Otherwise was a great time.

  • Heart, Amazing as always

by IgorC on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

The girls sing like goddesses, Im glad they played more of their own song and less Zeppelin songs like they use to do before. Cheap Trick was really fun, love Nielsens guitar variety.Only complaint is that the chairs on the venue are extremely tight and uncomfortable, there is no room for legs, and Im a short guy, imagine regular people cramped there for 2 hours!!

  • AWESOME!!!!

by Patti on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Ann Wilson is my hero, she commanded that stage with a presence. Like a ballerina poised to do the best dance ever, she appeared out from behind the curtain sitting majestic in what was to be her seat throughout the performance. She transformed the audience into giddy fifteen year old's with the romance of her music. Taking us back to another time when music was simple and satisfying. Her vocals were melodic and haunting at times. Nancy Wilson also was a visual accoutrement her acoustic and rhythm guitar were flawlessly executed. Stories were told of days passed with enthusiasm and laughter. I can only say I cannot wait until the next time.

  • Timeless

    by MichAB09 on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely loved Heart. No pyrotechnics or computer aided singing. Just old fashioned rock with incredible musicians and 2 voices that sound as powerful as they did back in the day.

  • Still going strong

by WLJ on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the Heart concert. Ann was always my favourite female singer. And her voice is still strong at age 74. Amazing! Nancy is an amazing acoustic guitarist. Absolutely loved the acoustic set. Such great songs I saw.them in Boise Idaho many years ago and they’re still just as good.

  • Unbelievable experience

by Peter on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I wasn't aware that Cheap Trick was the opening act. They were amazing and sounded just as good this many years later. Heart was unbelievable, and the fact that Ann Wilson still battled through her injury and belted out the songs was so great. Well worth the money for this concert.

  • Awesome

  • Heart is still pounding

    by John K on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Heart was fantastic Friday night in Edmonton. I couldn’t believe how powerful Ann Wilson’s voice was. I believe she’s greatest female singer ever in rock.

  • An incredible night !!!

by ChowChowDad on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Took me back and made me forget about all the noise today. Ann Wilson in her 70's, with a smashed elbow and sitting down (hard position to sing in) can still belt out vocals that surpass most artists today and Nancy Wilson still rocking and still one of today's premier guitar players. See them while you can ! It's the same or better live than listening to the tracks. The accompanying musicians are world class talented which they are whenever I have seen Heart. Cheap Trick to open up was a double bonus and Robin Zander still sounded on point !

  • It was okay!

    by Syl1 on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

A bit disappointed. They have so many hits, why did they sing other people's songs. We needed the screens. Got good tickets, and still couldn't see them.

  • Trip back in time

by Great Scott on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Went to see Heart and Cheap Trick (opening act) at Roger’s Place in Edmonton. Both were fantastic and played like it was still 1980! Anne Wilson had to beat Cancer and then a broken elbow but still ended up performing! She’s a Barracuda along with her sister Nancy.

  • Cheap Trick/Heart

by BC on 2025-03-24Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Great show and glad to see them still rocking after all these years.

  • No big screen!!!!!!

by Chuck on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

With the prices we pay and the huge venue There should have been a screen whereby we could actually see the performers and also get close ups of the guitar rips. Very unprofessional in my opinion!!

  • Those Sisters still rock!!

    by Al B on 2025-03-24Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome concert. Even with Ann recovering from a broken elbow she still sounded fantastic.

  • Nostalgic

by AMAC on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I grew up listening to Heart and this was the first time seeing them live. They did not disappoint. Loved it and hope to see them again!

  • Awesome

by PW on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

Wheelchairs don't stop anyone from anything, especially Anne. Her voice is so original. The band sound was fantastic! I'm glad I got to see Heart again (saw in the 80's).

  • Bring your binocs.

by Warren on 2025-03-24Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Awesome show, just wish there was a screen ...bring your binoculars
