Hootie & the Blowfish formed in South Carolina between four college friends in 1986. After landing on their permanent lineup of guitarist and vocalist Darius Rucker, guitarist Mark Bryan, bassist Dean Felber, and drummer Jim “Soni” Sonefeld, the group released their debut album Cracked Rear View in 1995. The album became a smash hit behind three Top 10 singles, “Hold My Hand,” "Let Her Cry" and "Only Wanna Be with You" and reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 on its way to becoming the highest selling album of 1995. Cracked Rear View, which has been certified platinum 21 times, remains one of the best-selling albums of all-time in the U.S. Hootie & the Blowfish won two Grammys, including Best New Artist, in 1996 and released their sophomore effort Fairweather Johnson later that year, marking their second No. 1 debut. Beginning in 2008, the band went on hiatus while Rucker pursued a solo career in country music, and reunited in 2019 for their sixth album, Imperfect Circle.

First time I saw them live! They did not disappoint!!! Can’t wait to see them again!!
Fantastic engaging show!! Darius’ voice sounded great and the band as a whole was playing like they were 30 yrs younger. Loved the energy and the reminders of M Tv, the Led Zeppelin tribute and the music and bands that influenced them all. Would go again in a heartbeat. Glad to check Hootie and the Blowfish off my bucket list.
I love Darius' voice but I didn't expect such a "cover band"type of show. I can get that at many amazing venues across Toronto for way less an expense. Of course the venue and ticketmaster gouging costs doesn't really help
Such a great show - danced and sang to every song - been many years since I've seen Hootie in concert and hopefully won't be as long until the next time.
All 3 bands were amazing - a great way to spend our 35th wedding anniversary!
I have never seen Hootie and the Blowfish before. They just like they did back in the day. A great set list that covered HatB as well as Darius Rucker and really well done covers. The Budweiser Stage remains one of my favourite venues in Toronto.
Not my first time seeing Hootie and their show never fails to disappoint! Also loved the opening acts- made sure to get there early to see it all! :) Hope they come back soon- and next time on not such a cold night for them - although it brought a cozy vibe atmosphere
Great show! They are so talented and sounded amazing! Song choice was on point!
In general a great concert, just a lot of cover versions.
It was amazing he played all of his big hits!!!! If u get the chance to see this band u should take it
