About

Jeff Tweedy, founding member and frontman of Wilco, is one of contemporary music's most respected songwriters and performers. In addition to 13 Wilco albums, he has released four solo albums and authored three New York Times bestsellers. In anticipation of his fifth studio release, Twilight Override (out Sept. 26), this solo tour offers fans a rare chance to experience songs from Tweedy's expansive catalog in a more intimate setting--spanning both his solo work and Wilco favorites.

for those of you who couldn't attend this show all i can say is too bad. this was one to remember for a long time. an incredibly underrated singer songwriter by the mainstream, we were treated to 90 minutes of acoustic bliss. the sound in the room was tremendous. crystal clear acoustics and great site lines in the q.e. theatre. i was at the second show and even though the hall was 1/3 rd empty the people in attendance more than made up for those who foolishly did not attend. jeff tweedy was in great spirits and his wit was funny and charming. he ended this magnificent performance by playing the last three songs without the use of the p.a. this only brought this show to a more raw and intimate level that few will ever see or hear.

  • Jeff Tweedy is super rad.

This was a fantastic show. It was my first Tweedy solo gig and I've seen Wilco 3 times; twice in a theatre and once in an arena. Wilco and Tweedy as a solo act are best seen in a theatre. He was in a great mood during the show. He can be charmingly curmudgeonly and sometimes downright biting to annoying audience members. However, through that he is amazing at cultivating an intense focus for the audience early on in the show; and he usually does this through an almost stream of consciousness approach to the performance, with long jams and very short breaks between songs. This night he was really engaging with the crowd and cultivated that focus with banter as well as a set list with both rarities and standards. The show was punctuated with a first encore that included Lesley Feist, and a second encore that was completely acoustic and off the mic That second encore was such a treat, and a unique opportunity for the small crowd at a small venue..Tweedy continues to be completely rad.
