    Incredible

by JerkMeat on 2023-05-22Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

The opening band Cool! Cool! Cool! was fantastic, playing funky/jazz dance rhythms, then doubled as the backup band for Harrison/Belew. The main show was incredible from the opening song of Psycho Killer onward. The band was tight, and the sound was great. If they’re coming your way, don’t miss it.

    Sorry. This one was dull.

by Roger on 2023-05-22Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Play the hits and it was more filler than hits. The Talking Heads are why we went to the show. It was dull. Not a lot of interaction with audience and was dull.

Killer band, all having fun on stage. Belew smiled the whole night. Excellent musicians and great interplay. Loved it!

    Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew

by AndyG on 2023-03-06The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Of course ... if you are a Tolking Heads fan ... you know the music is great! But it must be delivered properly as well or it can come off as tribute band stuff. In this case .... the whole band was spectacular! Adrian was exceptional! Such a unique guitar player. But everyone in the band were stellar players and together they did justice to the music of the Talking Heads and gave it incredible life. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. Great music, great players and great sound! :)

Best Remain in Light tour, in 40 years!

by Rob on 2023-03-06The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Great band - horn section - singers and the stars. Performing the original Remain in Light setlist. Fantastic, particularly for Talking Heads fans.

    Remain in Light

by Chimino on 2023-03-06The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

They both remained in and absconded wildly. Beautiful bananas detours from Belew especially that somehow always brought found its way back to the root of the material. Brass made things both stranger and more r&b. Also those cool cool singers oh my god I’m going to die.

    Big Energy!

by Bones on 2023-03-06The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

It was great to see the level of professional talent on display at the Danforth Music Hall, and that talent came with an energy that the crowd embraced and gave back to the performers. Loved the arrangements on the material from Talking Heads, and that was the advertised concert content, but would have loved to hear some of Adrien Belew's own material...just a couple of songs added in to an encore. Overall 5 stars!

    Unexpectedly Insane Performance!

by Dancing Head on 2023-03-05The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Cool, Cool, Cool ripped it from the moment they got on stage and took it to an even higher level when Adrien and Jerry kicked off the second set with Psycho Killer. A very chill audience and an earthy sounding venue. Good time had by all.

    Remain in Light

by Cory Williams on 2023-03-05The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

An excellent, danceable set list performed by top tier musicians and highlighted by the guitar wizardry of the one and only Adrian Belew. Highly recommended!
