We super enjoyed the show. Our seats were very good and had a great view. No problem at all hearing and seeing what was happening on stage
The cast was wonderful and the stage was brilliant! Very talented group of people preforming and in the stage department.
The show was absolutely amazing. The singing was fantastic and the way they told the story was great too. Exceeded all expectations.
Great show The man playing Frankie Valli is amazing his voice is the best. The girl singers were ok
I have seen JBs many times. This is the touring company that I saw last year in the US. Aside from a tech problem with a mic the show was excellent. Great singing, dancing, story.
The show felt like a dinner theatre performance. The understudy for Frankie performed at my performance. He was good at the high notes, but very flat otherwise. The sound overall was poor, and their were several lighting problems with the wrong people being in the spotlight at the wrong times. The acting was...uncomfortable. By far the worst Broadway Across Canada experience I've had. Considering the cost of the tickets, it was not money well spent.
Jersey Boys is amazing. Even if your not a fan of the Four Seasons it's worth seeing. The story is the classic American dream. The tempo is very up beat. An the mix of comedy and drama makes the story a timeless classic.
What to say other than “fantastic / fabulous/ wonderfully entertaining”. So glad we bought tickets!
The first time I saw Jersey boys 5 or 6 years ago was far better. This time around it was VERY scaled down. Unfortunate. Still a good show, but if you’ve seen it before you may be disappointed.
I was very excited to go and see Jersey Boys with family on Sunday, Nov. 5. This production was very long, the singers although good did not live up to all the hype! I felt as though they could have done with a little less profanity. There were times when it sort of made sense and then it just got to be too much. There were many children in the audience - it wasn't necessary to the story line. Disappointing.
Incredible show! Enjoyed the story of Frankie Valley /Valli and the 4 seasons as we knew nothing about how they started - loved the group. Incredible voices and performers - would definately go see it again. The show should be R rated for language. There were a couple of young kids in front of us whose parents were concerned with the F word and frequency of it as well as “adult humor” - overall Awesome show to see
Sound was poor, high and low at times, too much swearing. Overall not worth the price
This was my first Broadway experience! I was impressed by the accuracy and precision from the prop management to the fun dancing numbers.
Lead singer was average at best and was not helped by the poor sound in the theater that evening- could barely hear the show (the dialogue in particular)- luckily I had seen the movie so I knew the plot otherwise might have been a bit lost
Second time seeing this show..first time 4 years ago Vegas, Paris Hotel. After this show ended first thought was that I would go again .As a teen I had double 8 track of the Four Seasons and now I have the CD Jersey Boys and on ITunes all their hits. Also went for Italian food after the show , just seemed right..
My wife and I sat in the middle seats of the second balcony. The audio was blurred. We hardly understood what they said. And the music was so loud and covered the actors' voice. That's also one of the reasons we couldn't hear clearly. The actor who played Frankie Valli was out of breathe even out of tune sometimes when he sang in the high pitch. I understand this role isn't easy, but I expected this show from Broadway would have had great quality. Unfortunately it was disappointing. I preferred to believe he didn't feel good in that day.
This is the second time I've seen Jersey Boys on tour and it was fabulous both times. The music is incredible, the stage sets are amazing, and the story is touching. My partner is not a big musical theatre fan and was not so convinced he would enjoy it, but even he left the theatre glowing. I'm hard-pressed to think of anyone who would not enjoy this show. Go!!!
Disappointing. The show didn’t really ever get warmed up and the audience was likewise. People in front of us didn’t return for the second half. Part of the problem to be fair is the terrible acoustics at the Jubilee. They shouldn’t sell 2nd balcony tickets for music shows. Am really, sad as my sister had seen show 2 times in the uk and said it was fantastic - people dancing in the aisles. People were sleeping in their seats in Calgary.
A must see show, music was fun mixed in with a little drama
