    Voiceless

by Wardicus on 2018-06-13Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - Woodinville

Tull, embodied by the ever present Ian Anderson used to be a unique experience in the world of music; sadly that is no longer the case. I am a lifelong fan and this concert fell a long way short due to his lack of a singing voice. Musical and entertainment content was high but he can't sing!!! So sad...... can't decide if he is genuinely trying to give back to loyal fans or on one last cash grab. SAVE YOUR PENNIES. Listen to the live albums.

    Jethro Tull Forever!

by 45YearTullFan on 2017-09-01The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

My wife and I went on our first date to a Tull concert in Toronto 45 years ago. We thoroughly enjoyed both concerts. Ian Anderson's appeal is timeless.

Amazing musicians, lovely music. I've seen them back in 1992 and since then I was looking to see them again. The energy and the quality of music is amazing.

    Jethro Tull Delivers

by Phreddieboy on 2017-08-23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The first time I bought tickets to see Tull was in 1982. Unfortunately, we drove 6 hrs from Air Base Borden to Ottawa only to find out that Ian Anderson had collapsed from exhaustion the night before in Montreal. Well, I have been watching for years to have another chance. Skip forward 35 years! Sure, the roster is modified and some of the guys aren't touring these days but Ian's guitar player, FLORIAN OPAHLE, has been touring with Tull for 15 years! He was amazing. From the opening number, Living in the Past, I was engrossed. Sure, Ian has sung better but at 70 and the classic hooks and vocals were genuine. The use of recorded performances from other "parts of his band" Ian guided his Jethro Tull through an stellar rebirth of their brand of progressive rock; a genre which they helped to create... Thanks Ian, friends and Mr Tull ;)

Jethro Tull with Ian Anderson were great fun!

by ChildoftheFifties on 2017-08-23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

What Ian lacks in vocal proficiency is made up by wonderful musicianship, wit and energy. Current incarnation of the band is first rate. Enjoyed the show immensely.

Jethro Tull puts on excellent show.

by MarcoB on 2017-08-23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Great show attended with my 23 year old son who was getting his first exposure to Tull over the past month or so in preparation. He loved it and so did I as an old fan who first saw Tull original approx. 4 decades ago! Great venue at Windsor Casino as well with the exception of a few overzealous security personnel who took exception to having folks stand and go to the stage for the last song or two.

Jethro Tull by Ian Anderson just awesome

by Bobbie77 on 2017-08-23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

This is the second time that we have gone to a Jethro Tull by Ian Anderson. It will not be our last. They put on a fantastic show. Just love to watch Ian Anderson play the flute standing on one leg just awesome.

    Jethro Tull by Ian Anderson

by Newrldmn on 2017-08-23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Talk about an energetic performance! Ian Anderson clearly has lost his former vocal range, but more than compensated for it with a generous 90 plus minutes of music. Some performers at this age are just 'mailing it in'; not so Anderson. His flute, indeed all the musicianship was spot on. As a fan since the "Stand Up" days, it's amazing to consider this group's body of work. The video performance served as a nice complement to the show. My wife wasn't familiar with the music of Jethro Tull and was blown away by Ian Anderson's stage presence and personality.

    Jethro Tull at Caesars Windsor

by Teacher83 on 2017-08-23The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The concert was very good but you could tell Ian Anderson is losing the top range of his voice. His flute playing is still amazing. It was sad that photography was not allowed. I was disappointed with the merchandise for sale. It was only 3 different t-shirts and very few sizes.

Jethro Tull took me back in time!

by maire3 on 2011-07-03Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

What a great evening listening to music that I had almost forgotten. It was fantastic to enjoy the sounds of this group. Ian's voice is not what it used to be but the music made up for it.

    sound was bad

by PapaJ on 2011-06-28Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I was on the main floor right center and for the whole show the audio was bad.The vocals were so poor we couldn't understand what he was singing.By the end of the show the sound crew had a handle on the music end of things but it still wasn't loud enough. If I'm spending $90 to see a group like Jethro Tull I want to feel that bass drum hittin my chest ljke I did when I saw him in the 70's

    Jethro Tull still rocks!

by Rocklover2 on 2011-06-27Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I'm a Jethro Tull fan since I was a child. I would never imagine to watch them live, but I'm glad I had that opportunity. They are on their sixties, but they are playing great! Ian Anderson is a show man, he interacts with the public and has the energy of a teenager. Martin's guitar was also perfect, all the musicians are great. The setlist was very well balanced. When the show was over, I was surprised how short it was, but it was actually 2-hour long. You don't get tired of listening to those great Jethro Tull songs. To be absolutely honest on my review, I have to point out that they took about 2 songs to fix there sound (it started a little muffled), and Ian's voice cannot reach some higher notes sometimes. But that only make them human. I wouldn't think twice if they came back to the city. I would definitively watch them again!

    Old guys can play!

by Jetboy7 on 2011-06-27Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

It is always a good time when older musicians exercise their craft. The percussive compexities in the second half was great.
