About

KISS has been a pinnacle of live entertainment for five decades. The rock gods (led by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley) have released 44 albums, selling over 100 million worldwide. With more gold albums than any band in American history (30 in total), KISS have established themselves as one of the most commercially successful bands ever. The legends have produced fist-pumping anthems like “Detroit Rock City,” “Rock and Roll All Nite” and “Heaven’s on Fire,” and their merchandising empire extends over 3,000 global licenses — reportedly breaking sales records set by the Beatles and Elvis — with an iconic logo that supports a billion-dollar retail machine. Nowhere has KISS made more of an impression than on the road, though. The band’s theatrical stage costumes, exploding pyrotechnics, and fire-breathing choruses laid the groundwork for a five-decade run as rock’s “Greatest Show on Earth.” The iconic group’s 2023 End of the Road Tour wrapped up with one of rock’s most spectacular curtain calls at New York City’s Madison Square Garden (miles from where KISS first formed in 1973) on December 2, 2023.

  • This is an incredible spectacle

Before the concert started outside of the TicketMaster venue, some man known as Dancing Bob was dancing and had a high quality speaker that was belting out KISS tunes and I arrived well in advance of the concert, and he was dancing at least 3 hours or possibly more before the doors opened to general admission, and he's probably at least in his 60s, possibly older, and wasn't slowing down . Crownlands, the opening act was very good. They sounded a lot like Rush. KISS stage presence and the props, and the lights and the gimmicks were good or great, but most importantly the performance was superb. I don't know how they are going to top themselves. The Shania Twain concert I went to the previous week was excellent as well, considering it was the day after some of her crew were involved in a highway accident on one of the tour buses I'm assuming because of poor road conditions and/or weather like black ice, because professional drivers rarely make poor decisions with regards to driving, but this concert is arguably the best concert I have ever been to. The preshow with Dancing Bob, the opening act Crownlands and the headliners were all excellent. As an aside, I may have talked to Gene or someone who resembles him before the show, since he had a KISS lanyard and looked like him who was dealing with VIP ticketholders, who had early access to the building seats I would imagine. Maybe they should consider a BluRay/DVD and/or digital release for their New York shows to conclude the tour. Are they really done touring, or will they sometimes get back on the road for the occasional show not and then?

  • 2 amazing shows in Montreal and Quebec City !

by Steph Desj on 2023-11-26Rating: 5 out of 5

I’ve seen Kiss over 24 times in North America ( now 26) and it gets better every shows. This stage is the biggest ( in arenas ) and most spectacular hi-tech stage ever . This was the best visuel show Kiss ever produce . What’s makes a Kiss concert special is , the Kiss army gets bigger , the many generations of fans ..are from 80 yrs old to 5 yrs old . Kiss , it’s not just a show .. it’s a big event , it’s a big vibe before the show , at the show and , after the show ! This is ..like a big family reunion , when you see parents , kids , wearing Kiss make up and singing all the songs together…, it’s such a thrill .. it’s magic ! Kiss gave us some spectacular performances in Montreal and , in Quebec City ..where the crowd was louder than ever ( watch video on Kissonline) . I’ve been a Kiss fan since over 38 yrs .. and no matter how much you pay to see Kiss .., it’s always worth your money ! Thank you Kiss for the 50 yrs of Rock n roll 🤠🤟. You will always be , the hottest band in the world …!
