  • Skynyrd nation in the Falls

Great show in small venue. Played for 90 minutes, would have liked a few more songs to take me to 2 hr mark, but after playing Free Bird they couldn't possibly have any strength left for more. I know I was exhausted just watching the boys do Free Bird which is total guitar madness - loved it!

  • Best so far

Lynard Skynard rocked the place. They were great from the opening number to the freebird close.

  • Skynyrd started out slow but came on strong

With a weak appearance to the stage and what looked like confusion from the band it looked like we were in for a long night. Starting out with a decent rendition of Working For MCA but not much enthusiasm behind it Lynyrd Skynyrd looked as if they might just be going through the motions. However, it turned out that they were just warming up and with each song got stronger and more dynamic. They rocked out a full house of raving Skynyrd fans and had young and elderly alike dancing in the stands. It was definitely the best show this rock fan has seen at Fallsview Casino.

  • Lynyrd Skynyrd is in the HOUSE!!!!

Chance of a lifetime. There are somethings you just don't want to miss and the opportunity to see Lynyrd Skynyrd up close and personal in this venue was one of them. Great show!!! Great performance from all in the band. Man do they know how to get a crowd going!!! Everybody in the band made you feel like you were part of the experience by making eye contact, smiling, acknowledging you were there. These guys played their heart out!! I've seen many concerts but Lynyrd is now my #1. Way to go. Worth every penny!!!

Great concert from the band. Ontario crowd was a very tame. Would have prefered to stand throughout the concert.

Phenomenal. It does not matter that few originals remain today. The music is dedicated to them and does the original band justice. Anyone who does not see Skynyrd for any reason is missing the concert of a lifetime. These guys can and love to play and it sure comes out in the music. Wanna go out and have a good time-go see Skynyrd. Hail to the Skynyrd nation. I am now a member and proud to be so. Canadian and proud but I love my southern rock and Lynyrd Skynryd are the KINGS.

These guys still know how to rock it. The band is still as tight as ever and will not disappoint even the most die-hard fan. Songs were true to the album and sound was incredible. Good venue as there is not a bad seat in the house. I would definately go see them at Casino Rama next time through.

Lynyrd Skynyrd still rocking hard and playing huge hits. Still can't believe I saw people leave before Free Bird was played. Good opening act as well.

  • Skynyrd was tight

by TOskynyrdfan on 2011-07-15Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Skynyrd in concert now for the 16th time. The last few years they seemed a little sloppy probably due to the loss of two members(r.i.p) and the introduction of two new members. Well let me tell you that is the case no more. They were tight, crisp, loud and powerful in the southern rock style that only Skynyrd can provide. From the opener of Workin' for MCA until the encore of Freebird, I would place this concert in the top 5 that I have seen them perform. EXCELLENT.

  • Skynyrd was Amazing

by DDogg on 2011-07-15Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5

Well....Lynyrd Skynyrd put on one helluva show from start to finish......i was impressed with security at Rama letting those who had floor tickets stand right in front of the stage......i felt like a teenager again....dancin' and hootin' and howlin' for almost two hours of southern rock and roll at its finest......legendary performance........

  • Skynyrd Forever

    by MusicMan642 on 2011-07-15Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5

For anybody on the fence about getting tickets to see Lynyrd Skynyrd should stop thinking about it and just get the tickets. I highly recommend their show and music for anybody from someone who just wants a cool show to go see with some friends or someone wanting to check out some new tunes live, right down to people who are die hard Lynyrd Skynyrd fans. they played two hours of a variety of songs from their catalogue of music(they could have used a few of their new tunes in the set) closing the set with "sweet home alabama" and playing as always Free Bird as the encore. Again I highly recommend Lynyrd Skynyrd, I know when they come back to Casino Rama I will attend again.

  • Skynyrds in the House!!

by Anonymous on 2011-07-15Credit Union Centre - SaskatoonRating: 5 out of 5

These boys commit to performing top notch and never fail to honor that commitment. Johnny's interaction with the crowd and the tributes to our soldiers and lost band members is very emotional and loving. Watching Gary play Freebird will forever send a chill down my spine

  • A great night out.

    by Tetley47 on 2011-07-15Casino Rama - OrilliaRating: 5 out of 5

I gave these tickets to my husband as a birthday present. He is a fan of the group, however, I have never really listened to their music. I attended with him the night of the concert and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The sound was great. The group got us in the party mood (even though it was a Wednesday night). The venue was terrific. Not a bad seat in the house. We also had the buffet dinner. We walked around the casino as we had never been there before. Very nice. Would recommend this as a nice gift. The hubby enjoyed and thank me. Bonus!! All age of people were there, young and old. A pleasant surprise !!

  • Fantastic!!!!

    by howlinggirl2 on 2011-07-14MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert for the price of admission. The band seemed to be having a blast during the whole show, and i was sitting in Row 3, and it was fun to watch. This band has not shown any signs of slowing down, and kept the crowd cheering for the entire show. Skynyrd ROCKS!!!!!!!

  • by GanjaBabe on 2011-07-13MTS Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

We loved the Skynyrd show. They rocked, they blues-ed and they sang Freebird! Life is good.
