    United live was a treasure!

    by UnitedFan01 on 2010-07-19Rogers Centre - Toronto

Finally seeing United live after so many years as a fan was a once in a lifetime opportunity and the game itself was just fantastic. Rogers centre was a great venue for the game and the atmosphere was great! For a pre-season game, it was exciting and action packed, and it was great to see all the big name United playerss that came, and Celtic gave a decent account of themselves as well! Overall a great experience and a wonderful weekend in Toronto.

    Man United vs. Celtic

by trodrig on 2010-07-19Rogers Centre - Toronto

Great game, good goals and good scoring opportunities. Neither team mailed in their performance. The atmosphere in the dome was awesome, far better than baseball or football games usually played there. They could have easily filled the dome had the ticket prices been more reasonably priced.

    Man U vs Celtic FC

by Tiresome on 2010-07-19Rogers Centre - Toronto

First ever soccer game so I was pleasantly surprised. Being a hockey puck thought maybe it would be way to boring. Glad it didn't end in a nil nil draw, that would have been anti climatic. Great atmoshere. Scoccer fans are entertaining to say the least. I'd do it again.

    geat game, overpriced seats

    by zic32 on 2010-07-18Rogers Centre - Toronto

for a sports fan like myself, being able to see these 2 European clubs play in Toronto was just awesome. however, I feel like a friendly match with no real meaning like this one should not cost as much as this did. Also, Man United was missing most of its regular starters. Still, alot less expensive than going to England to see these 2 clubs

Man Utd was awesome, but ban the Vuvuselas

    by huntersmith8181 on 2010-07-18Rogers Centre - Toronto

it was absolutely fantastic to see Man Utd playing in Toronto ... but Rogers Centre and all other soccer venues have got to act to ban those annoying vuvuselas ... our singing and enjoyment was overpowered by a handful of obnoxious horns that sounded like dying cows ... Toronto FC has already banned the goofy things at BMO field so it was annoying to see that such a premier soccer event permitted them.

LOVED the game and the atmosphere!

by Jimbalaya on 2010-07-18Rogers Centre - Toronto

Too bad it took a VERY long time to get into the stadium. Very disheartening to see only 2... yes TWO! open doors for gate 5 (one of the busiest gates)...the long was ridiculously long and even though we were there 20 minutes before the game time we missed a lot of the beginning and were very upset by that. They KNEW the lower levels were sold out but didn't have enough personnel at the gates for the lower levels and many people were very vocal about their displeasure. Thankfully the game itself was enjoyable.

Very lack lustre match ,where Manchester United outclassed their opponents,Would suggest that in future closer attention should be made to getting equal quality teams rather then relying on nationalistic competion and pride to bring in the crowds.

The game was spectacular. Taking place at the Rogers Centre allowed the atmosphere of the roaring fans to echo into everyone's soul. I'm sure even the fans at the highest level of the dome felt as if the players of the two teams were walking right up to them during their warm-up and at the end of the match. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The resources for travelling and facilities were great, especially for those of us who left the game walking down the Skywalk chanting at the top of our lungs, "UNITED, UNITED..."!

    Manutd-Overpriced & Boring

by arajhans on 2010-07-18Rogers Centre - Toronto

Having seen Manutd play Old Trafford in 2008 and play Juventus in 2003 and Giants stadium, I was disappointed. This game was over priced and boring. Maybe it was the venue. Being a season ticket holder for TFC, the atmosphere at BMO field is better. I could not here any singing from the fans. Also disappointed that there was no open practice like in New Jersey in 2003 or when Real Madrid Came. I have been going to friendlies since Liverpool played Porto and Celtic played Roma and Serbia played Italy. Skydome(Sorry Rogers Centre) is a poor place for these matches. Now that we have BMO forget rogers centre. Also the pricing is riduculously high now. This was a disappointing way to see my team for the first time in Canada. Being a UTD fan since 96, this was disappointing.

Great! Even better had Celtic won

by nikkicino on 2010-07-18Rogers Centre - Toronto

My only complaint... Roger Centre really needs to streamline their food/drink service. Not the most efficient service.

    Great game

    by stink93 on 2010-07-18Rogers Centre - Toronto

It was a good match between the two sides. A little bit of drama in the second half with a disallowed goal and then a penalty kick for Celtic. Giggs played well, as did Berbatov. Rooney and some of the other top guns weren't on hand, which was the only disappointment.

    Man U in TO

    by GeorgeBest7 on 2010-07-17Rogers Centre - Toronto

Absolutely now know that I overpaid to watch this game. It is just not the same watcing soccer at the Rogers Center. Exhibition game without the full team squad at $165 each is really stupid!!

    Outstanding Usher

by JohnnyBud on 2010-07-17Rogers Centre - Toronto

Catherine the Great who handled section 134 A was a an awesome host. She clearly enjoys her work and excels at it. This was evident when The Reds scored their 3rd goal and the "patter" got a bit unfriendly for families seated nearby. She did an outstanding job of mellowing out The Bhoys.
