  • Was brought to tears

Steven Curtis Chapman presented such an open and heartfelt concert. It was like sitting in your home with him and appreciating the story and beauty of his life. The music was impeccable by both artists. Michael W Smith was energized and filled with life and the Holy Spirit. All I can say is wow, when can I do this again!!!!!

The concert by far exceeded my expectations. Both christian artists had incredible bands.

  • United was AMAZING!

by MickeyD on 2009-07-26HEARTLAND - KELOWNARating: 4 out of 5

This was my first concert, and I was not disappointed. The weather was a little freaky, and the venue was a bit rougher than I had expected (a field with a road plowed out that week) but the event itself was GREAT! These are two of my FAVORITE performers, and to see them live was fabulous. I would have liked to hear what the new albums were going to be, or the latest, and it would have been great to have their CD's available to buy on site.

  • Michael W. and Steven Curtis were awesome

by Stork on 2009-07-26HEARTLAND - KELOWNARating: 5 out of 5

Both Michael W. Smith and Steven Curtis Chapman were tremendous. They put on a great performance, even though it had thunder stormed only a few hours earlier and the weather was uncommonly cold. The concert was delayed by 1 3/4 hours due to the weather and it was quite late when they finally started - 8:45 PM. We were disappointed with the setup of the venue where they played. Some people paid up to $100 a ticket and their seats were no better than those of us who paid $57 a ticket. It was all very chaotic and not very well put together, but this in NO way reflected in the performances of these two beautiful gentlemen. Their performances more than made up for the chaos and frustrations of the other events that took place prior to the performance. I would definitely see them both again; not sure we would go back to that venue though.

  • Steven Curtis Chapman ROCKS!

Steven Curtis Chapman is SOOOOOOOO Fabulous! His music is so touching and I am thrilled with all that his family does for orphans in China. Check out 'SHOW HOPE" and/or the chapman blog! Michael W. Smith was awesome too, but I did go b/c of Steven Curtis!

  • MWS and SCC

by lrgriffin on 2009-07-26HEARTLAND - KELOWNARating: 3 out of 5

Unfortunately due to weather the show was 2 hrs late, which was annoying and inconvenient, due to having small children with a babysitter. SCC was real and worth the money. MWS was a bit showy but didn't have much time to do a complete show, due to it getting late.

  • Michael W Smith was Awesome

by smittyfan on 2009-07-26HEARTLAND - KELOWNARating: 5 out of 5

It was daunting watching the rain pouring down at 330, knowing that in a few hours the concert I had been waiting to see for months was outdoors. However, people prayed - God answered and when I got there at 6pm no rain. However, due to the high winds and the rain, the concert was delayed for almost 2 hours as the tech crew raced to get the stage set up. Lovely place for a concert, quite pricey for the venue. Same show in Abbotsford next night, and tickets were $20-$30 cheaper. However, once things were up and running, the artists did their thing and it was great.

A great Concert. Due to weather problems and concert was delayed but the best effort was put forth to make sure that the show went on. I really appreciate the outstanding job that was done by the promoters to get this back off the ground. The problems that they had to overcome were enough to make most people cancel. I am impressed all around. Steven Curtis Chapman is an inspiration. Michael W Smith has been a favorite since I was a kid and I am impressed still! Great Artists, great location (with out thundershowers haha)

  • Awesome duo

by DancingThruGrace on 2009-07-26HEARTLAND - KELOWNARating: 4 out of 5

A wonderful time of music, rock'n, worship with two great Christian artists. It was really great to learn that Steven CC has two sons on stage with him (I thought parts of the band looked a bit young). Great performances together. Michael WS really gets the crowd going. Total fun. To be fair - the Kelowna area had about the wildest storm we ever get - so wind and lightning changed up the timetable pretty bad. But the show was definitely worth the wait. Understatement. Beautiful ranch location.

  • Michael and Steven rocked!

by alioop on 2009-07-26HEARTLAND - KELOWNARating: 5 out of 5

Aside from the crappy weather that delayed the concert considerably, these two guys made the wait well worth it.

  • Smith and Chapman were great

by waistdeep on 2009-07-26HEARTLAND - KELOWNARating: 4 out of 5

Considering the heavy rains and winds just before the show, the delay in getting everyone re-set up was acceptable. Once the show began, the spirit was present and what else can you say but "it was great!"

  • I'm sure Smitty n Steve were amazing!!!

by hadassah on 2009-07-26HEARTLAND - KELOWNARating: 5 out of 5

I'm sure Smitty and Steve were amazing, as always. So am submitting a review You see, due to unforseen family situation,we were unable to attend. I gave my tickets to my cousins. As soon as the tickets came available, I purchased 4 for my children and myself Jan.2nd. We had seats in the center section row 5!! We were all so excited to spend this evening of worship with Micheal and Steven. They have been a huge inspiration to us!! My children, who are now adults were raised with this music as a part of our home life. Having been to Micheals concert before, I was excited for July 25 and planned my vacations around this event. Sadly, it was not possible. With great tickets I tried til the 24th to make it happen; but, wasn't going to happen!! My cousins were so excited to attend, and am sure were blessed. So, will look forward to the next concert

  • Michael W Smith - WOW!

by IAmSpecial on 2009-07-20Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

I don't go to many concerts but I really wanted to go and see Michael W Smith when I knew he was going to be that close. Wow, I can say I was not disappointed. It was like he was talking and singing to me personally. I would go again in a heartbeat. It was like he was there to see us, not us there to see him. Thank You Michael W Smith for being real, no matter how popular or famous you become. God has blessed you, and you share the blessings.

  • Micheal W. Smith was wonderful

    by Stevie01 on 2009-07-18Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

The music was reminiscence. He played clips of a few oldies but goodies too safisfy his signature pieces. Along with his classic pieces he played some newies. He gave a wonderful chat with us. All in all a wonderfully delicious night.

  • Smitty did not disappoint!

by webby on 2009-07-17Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

This was the first time that I had seen Michael in person. He is awesome and certainly knows how to stir a crowd. It was so awesome to praise our Lord in such a stirring way. I did miss his choir at first but he certainly made up for it with his professionalism. Looking forward to seeing him again soon.

  • MWS was uplifting!

  • Worship to the MAX

by PaulOVTarsus on 2009-07-15Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

The evening began with wanting to see Michael perform, but as per usual, he turned it into a time to praise and worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I would love to worship with Michael again at COPS.

  • Michael W. Smith was incredible!!

by saintjohnnewbrunswickfan on 2009-07-15Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

I loved absolutely everything that Michael W. Smith held - he is an incredibly gifted musician and artist, and God is very prevalent in everything he does - he's definitely among my top 3 all time Christian Artists, and if anyone has an opportunity to see him I very strongly recommend that you do - you won't be disappointed! This was the very first concert of Michael's that I had the opportunity to attend, and I would definitely go again if I had another opportunity to do so again.

This show was well worth the drive from Toronto. Exceeded my expectations. Fantastic atmosphere. The performance was excellent. Other artists on the bill did a great job.
