Micky Dolenz Celebrates The Monkees Tickets

A pretty decent show from 1/2 of the Monkees (Mickey Dolenz and Peter Tork)............Would have been nice if Nesmith had joined this tour. Mickey's vocals are still pretty strong, so all of the hits sounded pretty good. The backing musicians added a positive spin to the catalogue. If I was to find fault....it was the middle third of the show which contained a lot of solo and less popular numbers........................I saw quite a few people leave, well before the end of the concert.

Mickey Dolenz and Peter Tork did thier best to take us back to our childhood and memories of the Monkees. At times they suceeded but the show had holes and when they did thier own songs it stalled any momentum they built It wasnt what we came for. As a result some Monkees songs we expected to hear did not get played. The collage of old videos playing throughout the show was a great add to the show. Overall enjouable but missing something.

You should be a real fan to get the most out of the show !!!

Very good show considering it was only 2 of the Originals. Was amazed at how good Micky's voice stillis and how good of a guitarist Peter is. Nice outting to re-kindle old memories with some old friends.i

Mickey and Peter put on an amazing show. Sang all the great songs and had a lot of fun and energy. Highly recommend this concert to any Monkees fan!

I grew up with the Monkees music and TV show. Had all their albums. Over the years it never worked out that I was able to catch their occasional tours, but this time I was determined to see at least Mickey & Peter. My wife and I had a great time. The show was upbeat, the musicians were top-notch (including Mickey on guitar and Peter on guitar and keys), and I appreciated the mix of hits and not-as-well-known songs. The guys were enthusiastic and energetic, and punctuated the songs with short stories from back in the day. The back-screen showed snippets from the TV show and music videos - a nice nostalgic colour to the whole concert. All in all, a very enjoyable evening, capped off by meeting Mickey in the the lobby bar after!

It was a very slick show with plenty of nostalgic footage from the glory days and supporting instrumentalists and vocalists and opportunities for the older audience members to grieve the loss of Davy and their own innocence. And happy dancing! So much dancing! The lads still have it and sound great.

Fantastic. Peter, Davy and Mickey are all just as adorable and talented as they have always been. The Monkees may have a few years on them but they still know how to put on a great show.

I was never a Monkees fan. They did have 10-15 songs that I really liked. The show was surprisingly fun and entertaining. The ongoing video of old shows, clips etc was a lot of fun. The crowd was very into it. I had a very enjoyable evening.
