About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

  • Best show of my life!

by Caitlyn on 2025-08-27Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

10/10 amazing show. As a life long fan I couldn't have asked for more. The show was amazing and the energy in the crowd was full of love and energy. Perfectly theatrical and powerful, how I always expect them to be.

  • Captivating performance that kept everyone’s attention

by Two concerts in one on 2025-08-27Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Costumes, theatrics, and story were on point with lots of energy and not breaking character. An unforgettable show in its own rights. After that part of the show was done they took an intermission and changed outfits and proceeded to play a whole other set. Well worth the money.

  • Excellent concert with my daughter

by Roo on 2025-08-27Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve wanted to visit family in Michigan for years and could finally afford it…but my daughter hates being away from home and hates flying. This concert was the carrot that got us over from England. I enjoyed it and she absolutely loved it! One of her favourite bands and just fantastic! We loved the flames too! Such an excellent evening. Thank you!

  • Life changing experience

I've been a massive fan since I was a kid. Seeing them in person was life changing. They were amazing!!! Absolutely breathtaking performance. I wish I could go back and relive it again

  • The Black Parade Lives On

by TJ on 2025-08-27Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

There's really no words to describe how amazing this show was. As always, MCR puts on an incredible show, the crowd brings such an incredible vibe, and the only negative is that it's over and I won't live that experience ever again. 10/10

From the second they hit the stage until they left the stage they put on one hell of a show, highly recommended. I’d go again and again and again ❤️❤️❤️

  • Life will never be the same

    by Stephie❤️ on 2025-08-26Rating: 5 out of 5

Never thought I’d get the chance to see these guys live, especially in my hometown, and I still can’t believe that I did! Being around so many people usually scares me, but I felt the safest I’ve ever been, especially for a packed show at the Rogers Centre? Also Planetary and KAYF??? dream setlist!!! I’m a recent uni grad from the city. The tickets were the first ‘big’ thing I bought with money from my first full-time job during my senior year! Do not miss being in school or that job but I am thankful that those experiences led me to this amazing end to the Summer. It feels like a sweet ending to my youth in a weird way? I’m really not kid anymore and there’s so much pressure to drop interests I had as one, when in reality they make adult life worth it to me! Being around older members in our communities really helped with that textbook early-20’s crisis mode, especially post-grad. No notes on the show it was everything I was dreaming it would be. Absolute best night of my life. If anyone’s still debating on grabbing tickets— do it!!

  • The Black Parade

by Silvia Stardust on 2025-08-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Actually made it to The Black Parade, and actually the best show ever! Legendary.

  • The Best Concert I Have Ever Been To In My Life

by Morgan on 2025-08-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen MCR before, once, in Milton Keynes. It was a good show, but this was on another level. It's clear that over the last few years, the band has been hard at work creating an absolutely spectacular experience. I have never had this much fun at a concert - and I love concerts. I would see them again in a heartbeat and will never forget this evening. Cannot reccomend them enough. Now if only there was talk of a new album...

  • Good band, bad venue

    by H cook on 2025-08-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The band was so good! Glad I got to see them but I wish I could have understood the singer speaking better. I was in 219 and the sound quality was so bad it was hard to understand anything. I’d see them again at a different venue

  • I miss you already

by Doinki on 2025-08-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Beautiful, amazing, so good, sound quality was amazing, visuals were stunning, amazing setlist, venue well organized and maintained and security. They interacted with the crowd alot and you could tell they were really happy to be there. A once in a lifetime experience. Can't wait to go to the next one when they come back. I need them to come back.. I'm in mourning lol

  • I LOVE MY CHEM

by Alina on 2025-08-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Flew from England for the best show of my life - such an incredible live performance. Venue staff were utterly terrible, but I love My Chemical Romance <3

  • Stellar

by Jordan on 2025-08-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My seats were way up in the 500s. I could still enjoy every aspect of the show even from so high up. The screens on each side of the stage were super big and high definition, so even though the band was tiny on stage, we could still see everything going on thanks to the screens. MCR put off an amazing show. There were two tiny technical hiccups (wrong light being turned on on the stage at the beginning, microphone not turned on quite in time for someone's solo) but other than That it was smooth sailing. Despite the stadium being full and the dome being closed, it was really nice inside. I even felt a breeze every so often. All in all, it was an amazing show, and very very organized.

  • Great concert, nice location but freezing AC

by Julian on 2025-08-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was great! The location is nice, the seats are comfortable and the visibility is good. The sound was good but the acoustics of the stadium are not good, there is considerable echo. The worst thing was the AC, it was so cold that we were freezing.
