About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

It was so good. I cried the whole concert because I was dying to see them, don't waste. Time and buy tickets. I was at the Toronto show. And it was the best night of my life (Teenager review btw)

  • one of the best nights of my life

you aren’t just paying for a concert, you are there to see a PERFORMANCE. it was absolutely incredible watching a story unfold through songs and acting, and then getting what felt like a second concert of their most popular hits outside of TBP.

  • Absolutely the best concert

by Yev on 2025-09-17Rating: 5 out of 5

The My Chemical Romance concert was incredibly well thought-out - the whole program felt immersive, as if you were transported into a completely different, imaginary world. The band gave their absolute best, performing a mix of both new and classic songs, with a fresh reimagining of their older album. The show itself was spectacular, with fire effects and stunning visuals that made it truly unforgettable.

I started listening to mcr when I was 9 because my sister introduced them to me and since then, they have changed my life and helped me through so much. Seeing My Chemical Romance live was the most unforgettable and irreplaceable experience, I am so grateful to have gotten the chance to see them live. They sound even better then the recordings

Awesome show. Great presentation. Only complaint was the sound sounded a bit off. I figured it was because of where I was sitting.

  • unreal

by Rudy on 2025-08-28Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

So so sick and I'm actually honoured to have had the experience to see them live, this was a Christmas present to my wife from last Christmas and the only thing that would've made it better is if we were in the pit. We got ghost of you, thank you for the venom, boy division, kill all your friends, and planetary go -- more than half of stage b was on my wishlist!! Seeing them on a new moon and getting my period the next day after crying three separate times during the show really sums it up. Spent $500 on merch and would buy more given the opportunity. There was a totally sweet tween with her 50 y/o mother there for her first concert and mums first MCR concert. Surreal experience because my wife and I were her age ten years ago when we first got into MCR. If you ever have the opportunity to go to a show, do everything you can to get there. I know everyone says that but I actually will never leave the stadium in spirit.

  • Best show ever!!!!!!

by Music girl on 2025-08-27Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Our boys outdid themselves this time!!! Entertaining awesome music. And fun so much fun. My daughter and I were able to upgrade from the nosebleeds to the floors. Got the merch I wanted. Perfect night. Thanks to everyone who made this happen for us.
