Très bien organisé. J'aurais seulement aimé accéder au site un peu plus tôt pour pouvoir en profiter plus longtemps avant le premier match. Kiosques et restos bien plaisants quoi que un peu cher. Beau spectacle de joueurs de tennis.
Getting the ticket was a breeze and a great experience. Thank you
Saw two sessions - Wednesday evening and Friday day session. No complaints about the venue, parking and quality of the tennis. But crowd control and seating management for Grandstand Court and Court 1 needs a lot of improvement - could not get into these courts for great matches late Wednesday afternoon; poor entryway set-up at both, and no optimization of seating - plenty of space inside, but no one was urging people to sit closer together to allow others to have a seat. Very frustrating! Also, as I say every year, they charge you a fortune for food and beverage stuff, with limited choices. $5.75 for a bottle of water!! Best deal was the pizza - ~$7/slice, but you can't eat pizza all the time......Come on National Bank/Sobey's et al, make some real changes here!!
Really well organized and lots to do and experience!
The best experience. I really enjoyed the game. Everything was five star!!
My first time my brother and I saw this Tennis tournament in Toronto and it was really good but the seats are good but windy I nearly need to hold on to my hat but anyway the staff were good I wish the tickets for lower 100 level was not expensive anyway don't mind seeing the women's tennis tournament again next year in Toronto
1) Excellent staff / volunteer reception throughout 2) The increased hyper - commercialization and noise of this event flies in the face of the grace and enjoyment of the game of the game itself. I felt a reluctant captive to it all, and question my return in the future. 3) I did not expect to have to park a 20 minute walk from the courts. without any shuttle service. I saw several people with either compromised health (myself included) or seniors, who needed to stop along to way to rest where they could (particularly in the heat) before arriving where they needed to be. A shuttle service, as I have experienced in the past, at a closer proximity to the courts, would not have gone amiss.
We paid a LOT of money and all it got us was one singles match and one doubles match. Hmmmm. I think we'll get earlier rounds from now on. Also, four bucks for a CAN of pop. Yikes.
It was my first time attending the NBO and my only regret is that I did not know it was such an amazing event ! As a tennis player who has watched many professional matches virtually, I never realized that watching live world class tennis was such as exhiliarting experience I will definitely continue attending in the coming years to support the Open and may even volunteer !
Great event it’s always fun. There’s a good crowd, mostly tennis fans and a few famous IG wannabes snapping pictures of their bloated lips, chiseled cheeks and designer tennis outfit! I’ll be there again next year!
We thoroughly enjoyed watching the matches at the National Tennis Open. While the grandstand matches are great, we particularly like watching the practices and experiencing the up close and personal matches on the side courts. Plus, there are several amenities at the venue that are entertaining.
The tennis was fantastic. Beautiful venue, lots of food and drink options, great views of the court and wonderful tennis. Having attended the Aus Open in Melbourne many times, this was comparable in terms of options and cleanliness and staff inside the venue. Smaller but appropriate for a Masters event vs a Grand Slam. The parking at Pioneer Village TTC was fine on arrival, lots of space and an easy walk to the venue. We had tickets to the night time semi final and leaving after the match was the most disorganised parking debacle I have ever experienced. There were no staff or parking monitors and the queue to leave the carpark was at a standstill for nearly 2 hrs. Compounding this problem was that there was some kind of car meet up happening in the carpark the same night and so people arriving for that (at well after 10pm at night!) further slowed down the exit for the the hundreds of tennis guests. In the future, NBO /Rogers will need to do a much better job of managing this process. We arrived back at our car after the match around 10.20pm and didn't leave the carpark till midnight. That definitely tainted what was otherwise a wonderful night of sport.
Other than the concession prices being outrageous, this is a great event at a great venue.
We absolutely loved our experience. We were there for the 4 quarter finals matches and enjoyed every second of our day. Lovely site as well, lots to do between the matches. I would simply suggest a souvenirs/gift shop for future tournaments. We got t-shirts, but if there would've been a store with souvenirs like key chains, mugs, magnets, etc. etc., we would've definitely purchased some. Overall though, amazing experience and we will definitely be back!!!!
We bought tickets for day and evening sessions on the same day. During evening session people without tickets were able to entre the stadium without being checked. They kept moving around, being bumped out of seats, changing seats to other location, which detracted from our enjoyment of the game.
Seating in a suite seat was a great spot other than some other people in other suites talking loudly during play. They have a room they could go in and close the door.
We were not told to get the number of the shuttle bus you take to the stand in the afternoon, so we were lost when at night we could not recognize the parking lot we used, and the volunteer supervisor took some time to help us at 1 am (thank you) to find our car.
It was a great experience! More so for our first time to watch tennis live! The venue, staff, and the crowd were wonderful. Definitely going to watch more tennis now.
Really enjoyed the tennis. Great venue. NBO app needs some work.
